He could get cell phone calls from Nunzio in the middle of matches, then just up and leave, saying he's "Gotta handle some business" or "I gotta go do dat thing." This would work on multiple levels because... 1) Tazz can then be a real heel announcer 2) He might wrestle every now and then, or at least participate in the occasional beatdown. 3) Increases the likelihood of Michael Cole getting beat up, slapped around, and just generally punked. I like this idea. I think it would make for some entertaining television. I'm all for this suggestion. Sure, Taz isn't Italian, but it kindof would fit in with his Stacker 2 character... And I was watching GAC 99 earlier, and well Tracy Smothers is just...just bad. Hell he used to dance in the F.B.I. We don't need that. Big Sal might be pretty good, if he was just in a non wrestling role. Tommy Rich too. Tony Mamaluke and Nunzio as a tag team again would rule. They should bring in Vito and have the Mamalukes again to boost the tag division too. Oh, and they need to come down to 'Stayin' Alive' or 'Amore' like they used to. Tazz is too busy building up to Tazz vs Sable...boy would I mark for a Dragon Tazzplex through a table on her! But hell, bring back Gertner. No real reason...just bring back Gertner.
