Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2004 Where'd you get the 1992 scenario? RaveX. Site is hacked currently. He also probably just converted the stuff from the 3.0 info and perhaps updated it. I finally got to play TEW for a few days now. It's definitely not worth the $35 price tag. Unless you want a really in-depth game, you won't find it much better. TEW is definitely worth it. Thankfully, if you also get the patch to go along with it, it adds to the game. Of course, like all games, it will have a patch. Adam's been putting them out non-stop and currently is patch 1.1.1 I believe. If you are playing the demo though of TEW, do not install the patch. As the patch will kill the demo. Sucks, but way it is. I promised a shit load of people I'm doing a TEW diary, so I have to buy the game using my first paycheck. Oh, and Happy Chris Benoit Day. Unless you want a really in-depth game, you won't find it much better. I finally decided not to buy the game. It's just too involved, and I'm happy with my EWR games as they are. And, of course, I already spent the money I had allocated to TEW on porno. ........ ......well, I did. Don't give me that look. I decided I'd rather have the porn. DCMaximo 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2004 So close..and yet...so...far! TAKA Michinoku vs Paul London. Match Background: TAKA and London have been feuding recently. London has yet to get an in-ring victory in this feud. The Match: Hard back suplex on TAKA. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. London crushes TAKA with a running senton. There's a two count on the pin. TAKA Michinoku avoids a Paul London avalanche by getting out of the damn way! TAKA just WAFFLES London with a STIFF chop that hurt ME to watch! Second rope flying axe handle, London goes down. One day, TAKA might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Covers for a quick two count. DDT from the top rope by TAKA Michinoku. That looked KILLER. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! London takes a flying neckbreaker from TAKA Michinoku. London reverses a TAKA Michinoku hammerlock. London crushes TAKA with a huge legdrop. There's a two count on the pin. DDT from the top rope by Paul London. That looked KILLER. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Flying elbow from Paul London connects. London hits a HARD spinning kick to the jaw. TAKA Michinoku once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Second rope flying axe handle, London goes down. One day, TAKA might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Vicious kick to the teeth from TAKA Michinoku. TAKA Michinoku gets a roll-up...and grabs a handful of tights as well! The referee doesn't see it: 1....2...3!! TAKA Michinoku slides out of the ring to the floor, then turns and leaves through the crowd. He's happy to have the win, and evidently isn't going to hang around for London to get some payback. My Opinion: This match was SO close from being perfect...but I'd feel almost...dirty giving it the full monty, so I'm only going to give it ****3/4. Damn you Dames, damn you!! Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 19, 2004 I've tried it both ways and I'm not sure which way is best. Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2004 Ah, gotcha. Usually I'll start a feud off with a match on a normal show, then just have angles, interviews, run-ins and tag matches to build to the next major match, which would be at a PPV. So yeah, the actual feud matches only take place on my big shows for the most part.

Guest JacK Report post Posted April 24, 2004 Is it just my game, or are some of the relationships that develop over time a tad on the weird side? I mean, I can understand Sonny Siaki and Mike Sanders becoming friends, after all they were my most pushed tag team for like a year. And Alter Boy's Luke and Matthew becoming loyal, that makes sense I guess, since they've been teaming for two years. But Jeff Hardy loyal to Mortimer Plumtree? Why? Jeff's written to TNA, Plumtree's been unemployed for two years. Austin's loyal to some guy named Chilly Willy . . . who hasn't gone near the WWE. They just plain . . . weird. Oh, and for some reason Michael Raines now hates Acid. At least I don't employ Acid. On a side note, who are Anthony Durante and Gary Wolfe, and why don't they like Raven/Raven doesn't like them? Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted April 24, 2004 On a side note, who are Anthony Durante and Gary Wolfe, and why don't they like Raven/Raven doesn't like them? Durante and Wolfe were better known as the Pitbulls. If I remember correctly, Wolfe was Pitbull #1 and Durante was Pitbull #2. I don't really know why the Pitbulls hate Raven and vice versa. My guess is that it has something to do with Pitbull #2 damn near crippling Raven with a superbomb.

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Here's the card for my 2005 Wrestlemania RVD and Sabu vs The Dudley Boyz. Match Background: This will be a hardcore bout. Sabu is making his debut at this show. RVD and Sabu used to be a regular team, but have been inactive for a while. Whether this match will lead to a reformation as an active unit remains to be seen. The Dudley Boyz are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. Rob Van Dam is the reigning WWE Television champion, and has been since 28 March 2004. The Match: Flying shoulder tackle by Sabu sends D-Von CRASHING to the mat. Tiger suplex on Bubba. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, Bloody Hell! RVD and Sabu whip D-Von into the ropes and hit a double backdrop. Ouch! Bubba just got flapjacked off the ropes through a table. D-Von reverses a Rob Van Dam hammerlock. BAAACK Body drop by Sabu gets a bit of a pop from the crowd. Face jam onto the table. Death valley driver by D-Von Dudley! No one executes that move properly anymore. Trying to channel the spirit of Misawa, Bubba Ray Dudley ends up chanelling Lex Luger instead and nails a running forearm to the face, minus the steel plate, of course. Sabu is all alone...3D!! 1....2....3! The Dudley Boyz climb opposite turnbuckles, working the crowd as they celebrate their victory. My Opinion: This match had it all! Big bumps, incredible, crisp moves, sound psychology. Simply one of the best matches of the year. *****! Bubba's contract runs out at the end of the month so I brought in Sabu to give him a good farewell match. Rising Sun vs The SAT. Match Background: The SAT are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. This is another chapter in the long-running Rising Sun vs The SAT feud. This match is for the WWE Tag Team titles. Rising Sun have been WWE Tag Team champions since 29 August 2004. The Match: Implant DDT by Ultimo Dragon! I will always and forever mark out for that move. Flying cross body off the top rope! Lightning kick by Jose on Funaki. Funaki comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Tag to Ultimo Dragon. Lightning kick by Dragon on Jose. Diamond Dust from Ultimo Dragon and Jose is out! Pin, but Jose is out just before the three count. Dropkick connects to the BUTT of the jaw and Jose goes down. Dragon charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. VICIOUS lightning kick by Jose on Dragon. Ultimo Dragon is in big trouble...Spanish Fly!! 1....2....3! The SAT rush forward to attack! Rising Sun get caught by surprise and brutally beaten down to the canvas. My Opinion: This match was SO close from being perfect...but I'd feel almost...dirty giving it the full monty, so I'm only going to give it ****3/4. I couldn't get this feud over no matter how hard I tried. Ultimo's contract runs out at end of the month, but Rising Sun would've jobbed regardless. Hopefully I'll have better luck getting feuds over with SAT as champs. Orton and Rhyno vs The Stretching Crew. Match Background: This will be a special guest referee bout. The Stretching Crew are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. Mick Foley will be the referee for this match. This is another chapter in the long-running Orton and Rhyno vs The Stretching Crew feud. The Stretching Crew have yet to beat their rivals in the ring since the feud began. The Stretching Crew remain in the ring, celebrating their victory. My Opinion: Great match. Most people would give it ****3/4 or more, but I guess I'm a harsh grader. ****1\2 for you. Rhyno will move to Smackdown to feud with the winner of the Smackdown world title match between Edge and Brock. Orton will stay Raw, but will turn face and take on the winner of the IC match between Jericho and Sonny Siaki. AJ Styles vs Juventud Guerrera. Match Background: This will be a submission bout. This is another chapter in the long-running Styles vs Juvi feud. Juvi has yet to get an in-ring victory in this feud. This match is for the WWE Cruiserweight title. AJ Styles has been WWE Cruiserweight champion since 29 August 2004. The Match: Juventud Guerrera strikes Styles. Styles takes a flying neckbreaker from Juventud Guerrera. Juvi floors AJ Styles and locks in an ankle lock! Styles gives up! Juventud Guerrera climbs each turnbuckle in turn, working the crowd as he celebrates his victory My Opinion: This match had it all! Big bumps, incredible, crisp moves, sound psychology. Simply one of the best matches of the year. *****! Rob Van Dam vs Low-Ki. Match Background: This will be a ladder bout. This is another chapter in the long-running RVD vs Low-Ki feud. This match is for the WWE Television title. Rob Van Dam has been WWE Television champion since 28 March 2004. The Match: Low-Ki kicks the leg, knocks RVD down, and goes to work on it. Dropkick into the ladder by Low-Ki, sending it into RVD! Second rope flying axe handle, RVD goes down. One day, Low-Ki might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Low-Ki uses a basement dropkick to the knee and it looks like it might be TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL~! RVD reverses a waistlock. Rob Van Dam blasts Low-Ki with a slingshot into the ladder. Low-Ki takes the opportunity and climbs the ladder for the win! Low-Ki remains in the ring, celebrating the victory. My Opinion: Absolutely solid match. A few minor things brought it down, so I'm tacking on a **** rating. Chris Jericho vs Sonny Siaki. Match Background: This will be an iron man bout. This is another chapter in the long-running Jericho vs Siaki feud. This match is for the WWE Intercontinental title. Chris Jericho has been WWE Intercontinental champion since 29 August 2004. Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Did you up Sabu and the Dudley's stats? I couldn't imagine them getting that high.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 25, 2004 I upped Sabu's brawling from 70 or 75 to 80. I believe the Dudleys start with around 80 brawling. Dudleys give surprisingly good match ratings, despite only having charisma and brawling above 80. So that rating must've been based on the brawling. I think both teams having high experience played into it too. RVD/Sabu has 80 experience and Duds have 100 experience.

Guest What_ever Report post Posted April 29, 2004 I've already heard from Adam that .400 and co already know about the existance of the site and that it's been dealt with or currently being dealt with. So I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole, especially if you still have to register your name, they wil still know that you havent paid for it methinks. You don't have to register your name... Just put whatever info after you click trial. You can do so offline.
