Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 Cradle 2 The Grave & KUFFS! will both be picked up at Best Buy, tomorrow. I'll probably check out The Best Of Adam Sandler / Will Farrell another time.
jimmy no nose Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 What I might end up picking up tomorrow is the Bloodhound Gang DVD "One Fierce Beer Run" I'm kind of scared though based on what I've read.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 Im gonna take a guess and say that Mask SE is the one with Cher, not Jim Carrey... Brocky gets a DVD!
Slingshot Suplex Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 Targets is excellent. I'll get that eventually DVD Planet says Vampire Carmilla is out now too.
ArkhamGlobe Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 I've been wanting to see Targets forever. That I'll have to get.
Addy Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 What I might end up picking up tomorrow is the Bloodhound Gang DVD "One Fierce Beer Run" I'm kind of scared though based on what I've read. Yeah, it is pretty sick. I got it a few months ago, with being in the UK & all. You'll understand why Spanky G left the band after watching the DVD. Poor kid. You'll either love it or hate it. I love it, but Bloodhound Gang could put out anything and I'd love it.

All I can remember is Kevin Nash and Scott Hall trying to sing fire water burn on Nitro way back..I think I actually might have it on tape.
Youth N Asia Posted August 12, 2003 Author Report Posted August 12, 2003 I've been wanting to see Targets forever. That I'll have to get. I liked it. I borrowed Slingshot's copy. I might own it if it's cheap enough.
starvenger Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 Beast Wars: The Complete First Season, because I'm a Transformers mark, and this was a really good series IMO, although some didn't like it.
Guest El Satanico Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 I just tivoed Targets off Bravo. Haven't watched it yet. If House of 1000 Corpses had a few more extras, I'd buy it. As it stands now I'll get it from the library to see if I like it.
Guest HBK16 Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 House of 1000 Corpses is a really good DVD. the movie might not be all that great but they have a great DVD to make up for the movie.
Guest Lethargic Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 I noticed on the white label across the top of the Corpses DVD at Best Buy it said "House of 1000 Corpses (sensr)" What the hell is sensr supposed to mean? Does that mean it's a censored version and somebody doesn't know how to spell it?

Really? The only extras I've read it has are Commentary with Rob Zombie and Deleted Scenes. I've also heard it has great menus. Are the deleted scenes and commentary really good or what makes it a great DVD?
Nighthawk Posted August 13, 2003 Report Posted August 13, 2003 Rob Zombie would do a good commentary, he's an entertaining speaker. I've had House of 1000 Corpses on the computer since it came out, but haven't gotten around to watching it yet. I probably should to see if it's worth an investment.
Guest El Satanico Posted August 13, 2003 Report Posted August 13, 2003 Rob Zombie would do a good commentary, he's an entertaining speaker. Yeah that's what I'm figuring. That's why his commentary is almost enough to get me to buy it.
SpikeFayeJettEdBebop Posted August 13, 2003 Report Posted August 13, 2003 I might check out HOATC. I never saw it. PLUS, I saw Rocky snd Bullwinkle two weeks ago at Best Buy. I might pick that up pointlessly, more for my little brother than my self, bu what the hell, Ill watch it too.

Well, most of them do, why is Corpses so special? I also noticed that the inside flap of the box has a pocket for a where a booklet should go but I didn't get a booklet.
Guest El Satanico Posted August 13, 2003 Report Posted August 13, 2003 It's probably something called sensormatic and it's a security device. I'm not sure how it's different than the other security device, but some DVDs specify Sensormatic. It's rare for a DVD to have it or specify it, but some do for whatever reason.
Guest HBK16 Posted August 14, 2003 Report Posted August 14, 2003 The menus are very entertaining to the House DVD. On every section there is a diferent character talking about shit. Its really funny. The commentary is pretty good. Rob is just a good speaker and can catch anyone's attention. I havent checked the deleted scenes yet. Something I will do right now though.
jimmy no nose Posted August 14, 2003 Report Posted August 14, 2003 I also noticed that the inside flap of the box has a pocket for a where a booklet should go but I didn't get a booklet. All DVDs have a place for a booklet in the case, but not all of them have a booklet. I'm not sure if that one should, but I'd assume it doesnt if you bought a brand new copy that didnt have one.

I'll probably check out The Best Of Adam Sandler / Will Farrell another time. Don't buy that peice of garbage disguised as the Best of Will Ferrell. That special was a slap in the face to Will and his fans

I heard Gangs of New York didn't have one...but I don't know that as fact
