PWI sucks so bad. As someone said, they just throw in a Japanese name for legitimacy. Muto has no business in the top 50. The top 10 are usually somewhat accurate in kayfabe world, but 11-500 is always seemingly randomly selected. How do they know ECWA Jobber #3 is better than CZW Jobber #1, for example? They just pick names out of a hat. That list is the biggest piece of shit ever.

My friend got this email regarding last year's PWI 500.Apparently,the promoter of a group in Michigan thought that my friend's email address was actually Pondo's email.

 

Anyway, I was going to post the whole letter but decided to summarize it instead. Basically,if you're not a big promotion (or probably one based on the east coast since PWI is based in Pennsylvania),it's on the promotion or the individuals to send info to PWI for consideration in the PWI 500 and the Guide To the Independents.

I defy ANYONE to give me a vaild reason, kayfabed or otherwise, for this.

 

Good to see that Bobby Rude and Vance Nevada are getting up there, and that Scott Savage is on as well. I mean, for indy guys, even though their individual rankings mean little (Like, what's the difference between 345 and 457, really?) just getting IN the magazine is a good way to get at least a little exposure, and if people in their territory happen to read PWI and learn of their local indy fed because of it...power to 'em.

You know, I was just going through this magazine at work, and we've got what, ONE CZW guy on there (Sonjay Dutt)?

 

You've got Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere, who put on some of the most entertaining matches around. Acid just recently had a **** contest with Homicide, yet neither of these guys get mentioned.

 

Nor do the Briscoe Brothers, who have competed in both CZW and Ring Of Honor and done well for themselves.
