kkktookmybabyaway Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 From Drudge: What I love is the fact this woman's scumbag lawyer (sorry, I can't say one without saying the other) wants to relocate the trial. Hey, I got a good place to relocate -- I'll preheat Mel's spot right now to 450 degrees... http://www.annistonstar.com/news/2003/as-s...0-3h22w4457.htm A 27-year-old woman pleaded guilty to attempted murder and received a 25-year prison term for placing her infant daughter in a hot oven. Melissa Wright of Coosada pleaded guilty Thursday before Elmore County Circuit Judge Sibley Reynolds. The court hearing had been set to consider a defense bid to relocate the trial, but became a plea proceeding. Wright placed her 18-month-old daughter in the oven in June 2002, with the setting on broil. The child received third-degree burns over 70 percent of her body. Her screams brought help from her father, who was outside the house. "The child has made a remarkable recovery, considering the injury she sustained," said District Attorney Randall Houston. The child remains in the care of relatives and still faces years of reconstructive surgery.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 Let's all hope she ends up like that priest did.
Guest Retro Rob Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 A 27-year-old woman pleaded guilty to attempted murder and received a 25-year prison term for placing her infant daughter in a hot oven. 25 years just doesn't seem to do this justice.
MrRant Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 I'd kill her myself if I had been her husband.
Spicy McHaggis Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 I could definitely come up with a sarcastic anti-abortion remark, but we just finished another debate.
cynicalprofit Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 I think we found the little old witch who lived in the candy house relative.
Guest Vitamin X Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 I could definitely come up with a sarcastic anti-abortion remark, but we just finished another debate. And funny enough, it's cases like this that make me more in favor of abortion due to the severe lack of maturity and/or responsibility of being a parent..
David Blazenwing Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Dude... that's wrong. Trying to bake your child? God, I hope this woman spontaneously combusts for being so evil.
Agent_Bond34 Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 That is one of THE most fucked up things I have ever heard of.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted August 25, 2003 Author Report Posted August 25, 2003 (edited) I could definitely come up with a sarcastic anti-abortion remark, but we just finished another debate. EDIT: Damn, when Rant is disgusted, that's when you know it's time to edit it out... Edited August 25, 2003 by kkktookmybabyaway
MrRant Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 That ain't cool KKK. And you know I can take quite a bit but that ain't cool.
Guest SideFXs Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Well, by the time Mommy gets out, baby girl will have a degree in Law. She can sue her ass. There won't be any money, of course, for compensation. But some real satisfaction for getting Mommy into debt to pay for a defense lawyer. But, in 25 years, in jail, alot can happen. Jailhouse justice has a way of seeking out these kind of cases. Jeffrey Dahmer comes to mind.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Yeah, but do women shank each other as much in prison? Or gang up on someone and beat 'em to death?
Guest Fook Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 I'm not sure, but according to the sources I've studied (mostly B-movies), they just take showers together and have the occasional catfight.
Ripper Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 I'm not sure, but according to the sources I've studied (mostly B-movies), they just take showers together and have the occasional catfight. But on the subject...I am suprised by the fathers ability to not at least beat the shit out of her. That would seem like a natural reaction at the time. *wondering what the fuck KK wrote to disgust Rant...must know!!!*
Guest wrestlingbs Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 I don't know what I would do if I was the father. Hopefully I would be too concerned with the child to face the wife. By the way, good sig SUTP.
Dr. Tom Posted August 26, 2003 Report Posted August 26, 2003 I'd kill her myself if I had been her husband. I'm with you, dude. If I'd been that guy, I'd have found the nearest blunt object and caved her fucking skull in.
Guest wwF1587 Posted August 26, 2003 Report Posted August 26, 2003 wow.... thats.. thats pathetic and yet really sad... ewhhh i cringe at the thought of doing that to a baby.. and 25 years is very nice if your askin me... let her rot in prison for the rest of her life....
Anakin Flair Posted August 27, 2003 Report Posted August 27, 2003 that is the most disturbing thing I've read today. What's wrong with that woman?!
notJames Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 From what I understand, child abusers/molesters are most often the recipient of "inmate justice" once they're incarcerated. I hope that's not just a male prison phenomenon, as this woman deserves a back-alley hysterectomy with a rusty spoon.
Guest Boo_Bradley Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 My neighbor got put in the oven by his mental deficent mother when he was a baby, She said he was "cold" Now he walks around, crooked eyed, talks to himself, and pisses in the middle of the road
Guest Anglesault Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 Would anyone hold it against the husband if he killed her? Anyone?
Guest Stunt Granny Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 I don't think I'd kill her simply because I don't wanna do time like she will. I'd just knock her out with a right and call the cops.
King Cucaracha Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Would anyone hold it against the husband if he killed her? Anyone? The courts no doubt. And this woman must seriously be messed up in the head. I mean, she probably could have just pleaded insanity and got away with it. From the sounds of things, she probably should have. She must have some sort of problem.
Guest croweater Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 I'm scared of this board. last time I came hear it was Kitten heads being eaten now it's baked babys. Someone hold me.
