Guest EQ Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Are you the type of person to put things off till the last minute or do you get whatever it is you have to do done right away. I've always been the type to procrastinate. Hell, I'm procrastinating right now writing this thread.
Guest The Old Me Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Yes, I do it. ALL THE TIME.
Sandman9000 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 ::Makes the obvious "I'll write my response later" joke::
Guest The Old Me Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 ::Makes the obvious "I'll write my response later" joke:: what? I'll read that later.
Zack Malibu Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 I do, quite often. I work better under pressure, so putting things off never bother me.
Cuban Linx Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 I procrastinate in everything i do. Hell, i usually don't even do things at the last minute, i either do them late or not at all.
the max Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Hell, right now, I'm typing a paper that I received three weeks ago to do, and is due at 5:30 tonight.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 I always get my homework done and out of the way early, that way, my entire weekend is free to just party. No, I like the way I said it better.
Guest Boo_Bradley Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 I've got assignments due and tests to study for, but here I am at TSM
Guest Eagan469 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 < Prince of Procrastination
Guest stardust Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 I'll wait until a few hours before the class to type up a paper that's due, or I'll do my homework assignments in those five minutes before class starts when everyone's still coming in. And I'm going into my fourth week of classes and have yet to really read any of my textbooks. I figure I'll just skim the chapters the night before the exam. *shrug*
Guest wwF1587 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 i procrastinate in about everything i do as well..
Papacita Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Way too much. It seems that for the past year, I've never been able to get homework started before 1 am. I can't tell you how many times I stayed up all night last semester rushing to finish papers at the last minute.
Guest EQ Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Senior year of high school, I read The Great Gatsby (start to finish), and wrote a paper on it the very night before it was due and we had a test on the book that day. That was probably the most hardcore I'd ever gone with procrastinating. I had several weeks to do the paper, and who knows how long we'd been reading the book for... it was one of those deals where you read a little bit each week and then talk about it during class, you all know what I'm talking about. I got an A on the paper and did well on the test too
The Kid Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Oh I'm brutal, I procrastinate about EVERYTHING and then end up half-assing it. I can't remember the last thing I didn't procrastinate on. Even with this thread I seriously though "ehhh I'll reply later".
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Interesting how a bunch of wrestling smarks tend to procrastinate. Is there any scientific proof to this? I don't know, I'll conduct the studies later...
Cran Da Maniac Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I do all the time. I'm currently doing work that's due tomorrow. Only reason I'm doing it now and not tomorrow is because I got plans for tomorrow.
ISportsFan Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I have 4 sections of math homework due Friday (26 problems that will probably take me upwards of 6-8 hours, and I don't really understand it all that well - this is the first year I've ever had difficulty understanding math problems), and I will probably do it Thursday night. Oh, and I have a referee class from 7-10 that night, so I assume that it will be done after that. Jason
Guest Boo_Bradley Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 September 6 is ... Fight Procrastination Day
Guest SweetNSexyDiva Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 An unfortunate character flaw of mine.....
CanadianChick Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 I'm the biggest procrastinator ever. Last year for finals, I kept saying I'd study. I studied for about 5 minutes in each subject. Hey, I still did alright.
art_vandelay Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 I don't think it's just wrestling smarks. I think everybody is pretty lazy. You get a select few who aren't, but most people are, I think. And I don't know how healthy a thread like this either, cos it'd just make us all feel more comfortable about being lazy, knowing that other people do it. I for one, find the stress that comes with intense procrastination to be helpful.
Guest Jay Z. Hollywood Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 I have a test on Thursday. I have done zero reading due to laziness, and I missed the last two classes in the subject due to illness. Friday 4am, said I'd start studying. Saturday 4am, still nothing done. Can we go for Sunday? We'll see.
Anakin Flair Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 I meant to post this a few days ago....
Guest EQ Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 I've got a 5 page paper to do right now, haven't started it yet. Due tomorrow. Oh well.
