Guest Ghettoman Report post Posted September 17, 2003 IF YOU DONT ENJOY THE PRODUCT DO NOT SUPPORT IT. Thats not a boycott, thats called using reason and logic in your thinking. I don't like the Anna Nicole Smith Show, I'm not gonna boycott it until they stop sucking....mainly because I'm not retarted. Go ahead though, you never know when the power of one man who's yet to realize what a remote does will triumph over the forces of people who operate business. But for the sake of your fellow man, save all your boycotting for things that actually matter, like civil rights or politics, not a luxury.
Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2003 Here's the hilarity of the boycott thing: Internet Fans Boycott = Raw ratings climb to a yearly high of 4.9. Vince's reaction = "Haah...I knew those snot-nosed 'net punks don't affect anything I do"
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2003 Alright, I figured this wouldn't make it off the ground, and that's okay. You people pulling my skin off forgot the word "considering" in the title. I guess I'll just turn off the set myself and endure until this damn reign is over. And no, JasonX, Goldberg is not the lesser of two evils.

El Psycho Diablo 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2003 The stupidity of this thread's almost overwhelming. Say what you will about Goldberg, but it's a change from Triple H. In fact, you should be happy about it..because the only non-HHH person to hold the belt next year will be Orton.
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted September 18, 2003 I could see Kane Goldberg at Survivor Series. It would almost make more sense then HHH/Goldberg II. Everyone was predicting that around 2 months ago when Kane was red hot (for RAW standards). Then Shane-O entered the picture. "Kane will destroy Shane in a RAW match to set up Kane/RVD and Shane will do a big bump to put Kane over big time because HE'S SOOOO GOOD AND HE ENTERTAINS ME!" Fuck. Downhome 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2003 The premise of this thread is just so PRECIOUS, awwwwwwwwwwww. Here are my thoughts on things. Goldberg will win it at the upcoming PPV, and for the next two months untill Survivor Series Goldberg/HHH will feud back and forth. At Survivor Series, HHH will win the title back. After that, for the rest of the year, Goldberg will feud with Kane and HHH will feud with Randy Orton. HHH will be a face and will be kicked out of/will leave Evolution, and Orton will remain in Evolution along with Flair, and possibly a few new members, one being Maven. By the time December, 31st 2003 comes around, Randy Orton will be the World Heavyweight Champion.

HHH will definately get the belt back from Golberg, if only to completely kill off all the babyfaces on Raw so that he doesn't have any real competition when he does turn face after SS. And Orton won't get the belt. He's literally being set up as a Judas Goat who will take the blame for HHH's face run bombing (and it will, most definately). HHH knows that the WWE is high on Randy, which is why he's become associated with Orton so that he can keepl Orton under his thumb and sacrifice him so as to discredit him in the WWE's eyes if it becomes necessary to do so to save his ass.... razazteca 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2003 Randy Orton will never be champ. I would rather see Mark Henry or Maven as champ than Randy. Randy does not have what it takes to be champion, he lacks the needed skills in the all important interview/promo areas and is more boring than the average wrestler in the ring. Randy does not have what it takes to be champion, he lacks the needed skills in the all important interview/promo areas and is more boring than the average wrestler in the ring. In an ideal world, the qualities you describe would prevent him from getting the strap. In WWE world, only factor matters: management wants him to be the next star. So I can totally see them putting a belt on him just to convince us he's something special.

Just call me Dan 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2003 If you want to boycott Goldberg, go ahead. It's pathetic to try and grab all the bandwagon jumpers and take them to your level of ignorance. You know nothing. You know heresay. You have never met the man. You have never stepped into the ring. The guy can come off bad, things I've SEEN him do (confrontation with tigger) suggest that he's an egomaniac. He's paranoid. Look man, I'd say he got that way because of WCW. He was on top with the likes of Hogan and Nash. Nash had THE BOOK. Now, even in the WWE you have NASH'S BEST FRIEND owning everything and making sure his buddy stays in the top program. He's not the best wrestler, he's not even very good. He did not pay his dues much like many of the guys did. Is it his fucking fault he was pushed? Would you say, "Nah, man, I want to be stuck in the midcard and buried." The best ever in the business have always been considered marks for themselves. Bret Hart and Steve Austin namely were very big on having creative input. Guys like Steve get paranoid when things get taken away from them to the point to where they act irrationally. I'd say if Benoit, Guerrero, anyone was put as a flagship of a brand and threatened with having that sacrificed so the likes of HHH can keep the title some more and completely dominate RAW, they may react the same. The guy goes out there and is booked in lopsided matches. It's his charattcer. He does 3 moves. He's BOOKED to do three moves. Would you want him to finish a match with a vertical suplex or a clothesline? What do you expect when he is booked in squashes? If you don't like that, write the WWE a letter, it may do you more good than this flaming piece of shit. Goldberg is looking out for himself, something he was taught the hard way. Look at him in 2000. He was booked completely wrong attempted heel turn), and retired by Buff Bagwell and Lex Luger. Stupidity. He can't let it happen again, and why should he? Bottom line is the guy goes out there and does his job.. He travels and sacrifices much more than you know. I know others put more effort into what they do, and they are not rewarded for it. It sucks. But even when goldberg WAS NOT IN THE COMPANY, the same shit was going on. Nothing will change because of im. Jericho will not get the dominating babyface push if bill is canned. Why don't you get off the guy's fucking back and stop trying to illustarte yourself as some savior to the WWE with all the solutions. your boycott is pathetic and should be abandoned. Until you have walked in the man's shoes, don't be so quick to judge. I'm sure you're no saint. I say go Goldberg, win the title and run with it.

I like this guy. And fuck it, I also like Goldberg. I admit I was mad at him for the Bret thing for awhile, but that was a long time ago. Since he came to WWE he has genuinely proved entertaining to me, and at the end of the day that's all that really matters. I could give less than a fuck how bad his attitude may be, it doesn't affect any of us whatsoever. And after all the bullshit he's been put through from everyone from Nash to HHH to smartass fans, I'd say most people would grow an attitude. And I hate to beat a dead horse, but as long as the subject of World Champion Randy Orton was brought up, where are all the people who were trying to convince me he was recieving a god push to the top, and were so sure he was winning the belt at Summerslam? Hate to say I told you so...
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2003 And fuck everyone who fucks Goldberg. Screw it, someone has to support him. UYI I'm with you. Goldberg's actually been getting more and more over recently...and that's a change. Saying Goldturd/Goldterd/Goldborg/Fuck Goldberg/Fuck Goldturd etc is NOT a change. It's old, it's boring...it's name calling. You know...like little kids in playground. Like calling Little Timmy 'Dimmy'. It might be funny for a few minutes(at most)...but then it slowly begins to get old. So damn you...you've actually made me like Goldberg.
Guest MideonMark Report post Posted September 18, 2003 I really don't get the whole 'Goldberg is a risk in the ring/Goldberg has injured plenty of opponents' etc. argument that some people on this board bust out when they feel like criticising Goldberg. Maybe I'm wrong but the only person I can ever remember him injuring is Bret (thats 1 person in FIVE fucking years and is the same amount of wrestlers that Owen Hart injured, so even smark Gods are only human). Yeah the kick to the head contributed to Bret retiring, but so did WCW booking Bret to take chairshots to the head after the kick. Also add me to the list of people who are entertained by Goldberg. Is Goldberg the best wrestler in the company? Fuck no. Does he have an ego? Yeah he does, but so did(and still does) Steve Austin when he was on top. The fact is I like Goldberg, he entertains me and entertains me a lot more than dare I say it, Chris Jericho and RVD, who have bored the shit out of me recently. So in closing, this thread sucks. Oh and Goldberg for World Champ.

The only two guys that Goldberg has EVER hurt in any way, other than the normal bumps and bruises that just about everyone gives everyone else, is Bret Hart and Meng. Accidents happen, this ain't no ballet. Hell, Brock has hurt more people since his debut, than Goldberg ever harmed in any serious way. I thougt I was the only guy who enjoyed Goldberg. Steviekick 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2003 Yeah...Bret was all kindsa injury prone while he was in WCW. As far as Goldberg injuring Meng, I seriously don't think that anyone else EVER did anything that hurt him. Not that I'm condoning going out and hurting your coworkers, but damn, hurting that guy is damn near impossible.
