LaParkaYourCar Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 Remember. Tara led them to Glory and Glory saw her and said, "What are you doing here" and Willow ran up and grabbed Glory by the head and said, "SHE'S WITH ME!!" And Willow grabbed both Glory and Tara and performed a spell. All three of them went flying and Glory got up complaining about a "hole" in her mind. Willow went over to Tara and found her restored by the spell.
Cavi Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 One of my friends told me something interesting. Well I think it is. My friends, Ken, saw a Buffy poster in my room the other week. He was like, you know Warren? I was like, Adam Busch, with a C. He has done some artwork for Adam's band, though the name of the band slips my mind. He was friends with Adam for a while, but they just lost touch with eachother. I guess Adam has a big ego now because he was on Buffy and was a Big Bad. That's pretty cool. The name of the band is Common Rotation.
Hank Kingsley Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 Out of curiousity, how old is Anthony Head? If Marsters doesn't look 40... oh, and Spoiler (Highlight to Read): How does Xander lose his eye? That lead to one of my favorite lines in "Chosen", after Caleb dies: "There's a party in my eye socket, and you're all invited!"
Ravenbomb Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 hey, remember when Warren was the comic relief guy on that asian girl detective show on Nickelodeon?

Spoiler (Highlight to Read): In "Dirty Girls", at the end of the fight in the vineyard, Caleb sticks his thumb into Xander's eye. Xander lets out this horrible scream and blood pours out. None too pleasant. Can't say that the show you are talking about, Ravenbomb, comes to mind.

BorneAgain Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Warren, I thought was a creepy big bad because he seemed very realistic as a character and his transformation from geeky annyoing villian to cold-blooded killer was excellent storytelling. Its fitting though, considering his wannabe status, that his only two successful kills (Katrina and Tara) were both unintenional on his part. Another example of fine Buffy writing.
Mole Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Warren was a great bad guy, because he was just a human being. All of the other big bads bad some sort of super power, or a reason to be evil. Warren was just a bad person.
BlackFlagg Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Warren brought an air or realism to the show, he was probably the scariest of the big bads as you know there are really people like him out there.
Mole Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Angelus was pretty scary, but since Warren was just a human he was pretty scary. It does make me sad that there are people like him in this world.
Cavi Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Warren rules. I have always liked him a good deal.

Oh, and a second question. When Willow had him tied up to the trees and he was begging for his life, Willow made Katrina, I guess her name is appear. How did Warren kill her?

He hit her in the head with a glass bottle, I think.

Jingus Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Guys, shouldn't we be using spoilers to discuss that stuff in this thread?
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 You're right. I'm sorry. We got off track and stopped using them.
Jingus Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Oh, and is it just me, or does FX skip some episodes on its reruns? I know for sure that "As You Were" in season 6 got skipped, as a few others did as well I think. What's the deal?
Ravenbomb Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 I actually had an episode of that Shelby Woo show on a tape in my basement. It's weird seing him in that show after Buffy.

I watched all of season 5 and 6 this time around.

Remember Andrew touched her head and held up his bloody hand from the blood coming from her head.
Mole Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 (edited) I'll go with Parka on that, he got it exactly right. I just saw the episode a few days ago. I watched the "Grave" yesterday and Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I loved the fact that Xander saved the world. It was a change from Buffy, and it makes sense that he would stop Willow since they have known each other their whole life. Edited October 24, 2003 by Mole
Cavi Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I love the end of Season Six. The Xander/Willow scene is one of my all-time favorites. Remember all, Season Seven starts today on FX.
Ravenbomb Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 ever notice that Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Season 2 is the last time Buffy herself kills the big bad? Season 3, Giles blew up the library. Season 4, they did the spell to combine them, so Buffy get's 1/4 of the killing the big bad points. Season 5, Giles kills Ben/Glory (Glory was still there, right?), season 6, no killing except for Warren, but Xander stops Willow there's probably some meaning to all of that that I'm totally missing and I'm probably an idiot, just thought it was interesting
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 Bah, I hated Warren (loved the Trio), hated Willow, would rather have Tara live, and therefore find the season 6 finale to be vomit inducing tripe.

In season 5, she was the one who jumped to save the world.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 But there are a whole bunch of mini-bads that Buffy has killed. She killed Angel too.
