Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 Haven't seen this posted on the board yet, which probably means it's been posted a dozen times and I've managed to miss it, but what the hell, here ya go... Kevin Nash, who has more or less been injured since signing with WWE in 2002, will miss another two months. Nash is set to have neck surgery (the same surgery Kurt Angle had a few months ago) and will need 6-8 weeks of rehab time. WWE was considering bringing Nash back as a heel to feud with Goldberg, possibly even headlining Survivor Series with Nash/Goldberg. Those plans now look to be off. WWE will likely go ahead with a Triple H/Goldberg main event on Survivor Series before Triple H likely goes on another hiatus in December. Credit ye old Torch. I'm betting Nash just comes back as a head in a jar, because that whole body thing he has going seems to not be working out so well.
Lil' Bitch Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 I'd rather have Nash / Goldberg, at least it would have been a little different
SamoaRowe Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 I'd rather they save Goldberg/HBK for Surivor Series, let Nash have the time off, and keep Triple H gone until at least January.

Orton is about to pin HH for the title, when slowly a levitating blob flies to the ring:: JR: Oh my God, it's Kevin Nash! Nash: i'm a big giant brain! aaaah! Orton: Aaaah! ::Orton faints, HHH pins and the brain of Kevin Nash does a happy little dance"" JR: Remember, anything can happen in WWE, folks!
Detective Comics Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 Kevin Nash is the worst, and he has somehow managed to get signed for what, $600,000? All the while, WWE is paying to have him surgically repaired; he will eventually be the Bionic Quad.

Detective Comics Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 Good point Nevermortal... I always forgot that he played that role in TMNT2: The Secret of the Ooze. BTW, My AIM has been real fucked up lately.
Guest PowerPB13 Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 Nash could shatter every bone and tear every muscle in his broken-down body... ...and he'd still get a World Title before RVD. Thus is WWE. -Patrick
Steviekick Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 I think the real reason Nash decided to have surgery is so he could have time off to hang out with HHH...after all, he's on leave too.
{''({o..o})''} Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 You know, Kevin Nash being injured has happened so many times it has lost all of its humour, kinda like BBP with "I saved the _____."
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 Well its neck surgery and quite important and I am surprised that more people have bitched and moaned that he won't be wrestling - if he showed up on RAW this week you would all be....bitching and moaning. That said, I thoguht this neck surgery was for people that bumped a lot? I went to a house show in June and Nash, quite literally, did NOT bump ONCE. I know, because we joked about it before the match and decided to track it.
Bruiser Chong Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 What I don't like about the news is that it seems that HHH will come back and take out Goldberg, declaring that since no one else could do it, he had to come back and take care of it himself. And then, you can't ignore that HHH isn't exactly known for jobbing to the same guy two times in a row, which would seem to indicate that he'll win the title and disappear with it, since he's going back on hiatus.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 No. I think Orton will turn on HHH at Survivor Series, costing him the title.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 So, who collects the bounty now? HHH?
razazteca Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 Futurerama Nash will be a great announcer..........remember just because he cannot walk does not mean he cannot be on tv.
AndrewTS Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 Hurry up and come back, Big Kev--your constant pushes and subsequent injuries amuse me.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 Levesque with squeeky Itchy voice: Hey Nash, they're laughing at your pain Nash with squeeky Scratchy voice: That's not nice Itchy Levesque: Lets get'em! *Itchy Levesque and Scratchy Nash go to attack but wind up tearing both their respective quads*
Guest wrestlingbs Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 First his hair. Now this. Nash has lost so much that is close to him I'd put him on suicide watch. At least he hasn't started calling HHH "Comissioner Gordon." Now figure THAT reference out!

Guest PowerPB13 Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 (edited) neck injuries come in many forms. Can they come in the career-ending form this time around? Please? -Patrick P.S. Anyone who's offended...well, I THINK I'm kidding. Edited October 17, 2003 by PowerPB13

Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 The actual sad thing is that during his prime Nash could draw some of the largest amounts of true heel heat ever...and if you don't believe me go and watch that street fight between him and Michaels from In Your House; Good Friends, Better Enemies
AndrewTS Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 neck injuries come in many forms. Can they come in the career-ending form this time around? Please? -Patrick What defines "career-ending" for Nash? The guy can barely walk, can't bump, can't even do basic moves, isn't really in the minimum condition a wrestler should be--if the guy can stand upright he'll be going out to the ring.
Youth N Asia Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 What a complete waste. It's bad enough that he completly sucks...but when you throw on his injuries and salery on top of that...damn
godthedog Posted October 18, 2003 Report Posted October 18, 2003 The actual sad thing is that during his prime Nash could draw some of the largest amounts of true heel heat ever...and if you don't believe me go and watch that street fight between him and Michaels from In Your House; Good Friends, Better Enemies and all it took was choking shawn with the ref's belt, powerbombing him through a table and stealing mad dog vachon's prosthetic leg. that's the booking, that's not really playing to the crowd as a heel.

You're forgetting the part where he wasn't willing to acknowledge any fan that didn't have the Diesel Gloves, his big bullie mentality and more...he also wasn't AS lazy back in the day and would actually *gasp* lift people for his power moves Plus the two say in the new Michaels DVD (from what I was told) the whole match was improvised except for the prosthetic leg segement and the power bomb through the table
Guest Choken One Posted October 18, 2003 Report Posted October 18, 2003 Nash was truely a great heel with the Dark Shades of Gray lone wolf bad ass flipping the finger dont give a shit antics. Yes He was Austin before Austin was.
