Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Last I heard Heyman is embarrassed about his weight and doesn't want to be back on TV until he's lost a few pounds
Spaceman Spiff Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Who betta than Kommisioner Kanyon? But, yeah, it's going to be Austin. And he'll be made to look better than every heel on SD, just like on Raw. Yay!
Austin3164life Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 If Austin goes to SD, no way they'll put him over Brock Lesnar or Big Show at this point, coming off big wins.
SamoaRowe Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 You know, that Kanyan idea sounds pretty freaking awesome... too bad they won't do it.
Guest Fook Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 It's going to be Austin. Linda will move him to SD to appease Jericho and get back at Vince. *realizes that this will lead to Austin stunning Hardy and Cena every week* fuck...
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 The Ugandan Giant Kamala
2GOLD Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Mick Foley! Or, Marissa aka Shane's wife.
Guest hhheld_down Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 STONE COLD! STONE COLD! IS THIS TRUE!?! LINDA HAS STUCK IT TO VINCE! OOOHHH MYY!!! AUSTIN IS THE NEW GENERAL MANAGER...............OF SMACKDOWN! just practicin my Micheal Cole for Thursday
2GOLD Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 I still hold out for Foley, just to get that promo where he lays into Vince for laughing at him after Orton threw him down the stairs. Storyline wise it makes more sense than Austin just showing up. Plus Foley as GM=RATINGS! He'll sign La Parka!
Dangerous A Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Why can't it be no one? Fuck the commish/GM roles. This is stupid. Why do we have to have an authority figure push the action. Why not just announce matches at the beginning of every show and go from there. The GM roles cut into skit, match, and interview time that could be given to wrestlers who need it to get over. Wrestlers get over when they get the chance to shine, not from the "rub" that they get from GM's. Not one wrestler has been given the rub and turned into a main player by a GM role. Not one.
Guest The Decadent Slacker Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Heyman or Foley are my first choices. Followed by the extreme longshot: Bret. Then, DiBiase. Since it will be none of them, i care not.
Guest Basswitch Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 I hope it's Heyman But really.. I just want Stephanie to go away forever, or die.
Guest Lilly Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 New GM. Stephanie is going to be as gone as J.R and Lawler were gone after they lost their stipulation match at unforgiven. Stephanie will be back. Sable will keep the chair warm for her. Excitment!!!
Guest MideonMark Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 But if its Austin what happens to the Austin/Jericho build- up...thats probably building to fuck all. Its a bit too obvious if its Sable.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 I think it will be The Greater Power.
Guest Sakura Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Has there been a storyline reason given for why Vince didn't just fire Steph and give Sable the job? He is 100% owner of WWE last I remember.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Because he wanted the satisfaction of seeing Steph quit.
Guest Sakura Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Ok, so he could fire her, but he doesn't want to. So is he still 100% owner? If so what's the deal with the stuff on RAW? Like why are there two GMs and how come Linda is involved in that?
2GOLD Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 I'm more afraid we are all looking for logic in an angle that involves Vince. The man hasn't been in a logical angle since 1997.
Guest Choken One Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 linda is the COB...whom over rides Vince anyways.
Guest nikowwf Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 The GM is announced in another thread. niko
DrVenkman PhD Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 So far, that "confirmed new GM" is nothing more than someone being backstage.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Is Kurt Angle still his client? How about Team Angle? I mean, I don't believe contracts end after someone goes off television or last longer than 4 months.
Guest Choken One Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 I'm betting that Heyman acknowledges this in some way and likely still is his agent contractually...which would allow him to fuck him over...
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Wouldn't being the GM and an Agent be a conflict of interest? Anywho, there are many open possibilities, I just want Heyman back on the mic.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 So far, that "confirmed new GM" is nothing more than someone being backstage. Meltzer just wrote that Heyman is backstage and that he has been penciled in as the new GM for Smackdown

Anywho, there are many open possibilities, I just want Heyman back on the mic. I'm sure it could because think about it if he HATES Angle...as the gm he would make his life a living hell but as his agent...wouldn't he want him to prosper?
