Guest Choken One Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 Does anyone actually bother to change their clocks right away or are you like me and you keep it as was for a bout a week until you start missing trivial things like Doctor Appts and stuff
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 We don't believe in daylight savings time in Indiana. 5 o'clock is 5'o'clock..it might be dark. Deal with it.
Slayer Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 And whatever time it may be is always a good time for drinkin'
caboose Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 Yeah I change the clocks straight away, otherwise I end up missing the late night repeat of Smackdown here in England... ...I wish I had not bothered this time.
Youth N Asia Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 I did mine this morning...I don't have anything to do today, so it wasn't important for me to do them last night.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 I live in this bizzaro part of Indiana where we don't change the clocks, but the time still changes cause the rest of the world changed their clocks...or something...it'll take me a few days to be on time for anything.

Are you by any chance a cast member from that short lived mid-90's Fox show "Erie, Indiana" that aired on saturday mornings right after Goosebumps? I remember an episode where the kids got caught ina timewarp or something because of the lack of daylight savings time. Anyway, I got home last night and my computer clock was trying to confirm the time change with me. I was drunk and it confused me. Didn't fall used to begin (and daylight savings time end) on September 21st? Huh....
Guest SweetNSexyDiva Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 Changed it this morning as I woke up to dark angry, orange sky because there are 3 huge fires burning in San Diego! The closest fire is about 5 minutes down the freeway! There are a ton of houses in that area.... it is crazy and scary!
Damaramu Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 I woke up at 12:00 and was like "Damn I slept to late...." started wondering around the house and noticed that my mom's clock said 11:00. I realized what was going on and went and changed my clock to 11.
River City Rocker Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 We don't believe in daylight savings time in Indiana. 5 o'clock is 5'o'clock..it might be dark. Deal with it. They do if they live in Evansville or northwest Indiana. And I live in one of those regions. Feh. -Ben
Eclipse Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 I changed the clocks in the morning. I will be DEAD tired tomorrow since instead of waking up at 5:30, it will feel like 4:30am. Oh boy, this will be fun.
Nighthawk Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 You set the clock back, it doesn't feel like losing an hour until you set them forward.
Nevermortal Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 It was weird because all of a sudden at 2AM last night, all the clocks in my room turned themselves. We are being taken over by the machines.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 26, 2003 Report Posted October 26, 2003 Nope, but my better half remembered...
Anakin Flair Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 It was weird because all of a sudden at 2AM last night, all the clocks in my room turned themselves. We are being taken over by the machines. Resistance is Futile Atomic clocks?
Guest The Old Me Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 I remembered this morning when I woke up. I usually do it before I go to bed, but I was really drunk. It was cool when I realized it was only 10:30 instead of 11:30.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 The Board's clock needs changing
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 For you clock changing Hoosiers, you probably live next to a major metropolitan area like Chicago and Louisville, don't you? I'm towards the northeast end of the state. We ain't got shit. Anything worthwhile in Ft. Wayne is the better part of an hour's drive.

Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 on a side note, I think the amount of Indiana posters proves that there is not, in fact, more than corn in Indiana
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 Caw caw. On beautiful Lake Shaffer, Monticello, Indiana. No one will get that except for him^, that other guy up there, and Alfdogg.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Let me just point out that beautiful Lake Schaffer is neither beautiful, nor a lake as near as I can tell.

How close to IU are you? That's where my brother is.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Bloomington basically is IU..

The Czech Republic Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Caw caw. On beautiful Lake Shaffer, Monticello, Indiana. No one will get that except for him^, that other guy up there, and Alfdogg. Ooh let me try let me try! Does that have something to do with some sort of theme park in Indiana?
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Wow. You must live just outside of the state, or have spent time here, then. The place is a dump.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Actually, I get the Indiana Beach line(Crawfordsville native, about an hour's drive or so from Indy, northeast I think, though I never a) pay attention to maps or b) stay awake during car rides there.).
The Czech Republic Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 Wow. You must live just outside of the state, or have spent time here, then. The place is a dump. I remember the commercials on Chicago television. Indiana Beach, that was the name. And it had a talking crow. I bet the Dells are better though. Gotta love the Dells!
