Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted November 1, 2003 Man Accused Of Selling Steroids Without License By JILL KING GREENWOOD [email protected] Published: Nov 1, 2003 TAMPA - Nearly 100 people, including professional wrestlers, businessmen and law enforcement officers, bought anabolic steroid injections from a Wesley Chapel man who is not a licensed physician, investigators said Friday. Detectives said John Todd Miller, 35, charged an average of $100 for each injection. Some clients visited his office several times a week. Miller, of 1131 Baycrest Drive, was charged with five counts of delivery of a controlled substance, five counts of possession of a controlled substance and four counts of unlicensed practice of health care, sheriff's Col. Jose Docobo said. Hillsborough County sheriff's detectives raided Miller's office at 1931 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Suite B, on Thursday afternoon. They found more than 100 vials of steroids, some empty, and piles of records that indicated Miller had dispensed steroids for more than six months to nearly 100 people, detectives said. Miller was being held in the Orient Road Jail on Friday on $33,000 bail. The sheriff's office got a tip in early September that Miller was injecting people with steroids at his office, Docobo said. Dispensing anabolic steroids without a medical license is illegal. Detectives set up surveillance and within 30 days observed about 35 people coming and going from the office, Docobo said. On Thursday, detectives saw a man leaving with a package he didn't have when he arrived. Detectives approached him, and he admitted he was there to purchase steroids. The package contained vials of the substance. The man, who has not been charged with a crime, agreed to cooperate with investigators. Docobo said some named in Miller's records are nationally known wrestlers and local law enforcement officers. The officers aren't Hillsborough sheriff's deputies, he said. He said local businessmen also were buying the steroids and that most of Miller's clients were using them to enhance their appearance. Hillsborough sheriff's Lt. Gary Ganey said Miller operated his business by word of mouth, and there were no signs or markings outside his office. ``You had to know what you were going there for and exactly where to go because it wasn't obvious from the outside,'' Ganey said. ``And when people went there, they were in and out in 10 minutes, which is not like a normal doctor's office.'' Docobo said Miller employed a receptionist, who has not been charged or identified. The investigation is continuing, he said. Reporter Jill King Greenwood can be reached at (813) 657-4534. From www.wrestlingobserver.com: --There is a huge news story in the Tampa area about John Todd Miller, 35, an alleged steroid distributor who was charged with five counts of delivery of a controlled substance, five counts of possession of a controlled substance and four counts of unlicensed practice of health care. Miller is charged with masquerading as a doctor and giving testosterone shots to a clientele at $100 a pop and was being held yesterday on $33,000 bail. Detectives set up surveillance at his office after getting a tip in September, and found 35 people coming and going, and said his records show a clientele of about 100 people that included nationally known pro wrestlers and local law enforcement officers, as well as local businessmen. The NBC affiliate in the Tampa area led with this story, and teased all night about "top name former and current WWE professional wrestlers" that were being serviced by this doctor, but never mentioned any names. An unusually high percentage of big name pro wrestlers live in the Tampa area, for a number of reasons including no state tax, the weather, and fairly easy airport travel (well, compared to living in Calgary or California) to most of the dates since there are more events on the East Coast than anywhere. More importantly, records listing the names have been seized and Sheriff's Col. Jose Docobo at a press conference yesterday said the clients may be charged later. Usage of anabolic steroids for anything other than the treatment of disease has been a felony in the U.S. since 1991. Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 No, I think Vince needs a good steroid trial to slap him in the face so he can wake up to himself and realise the shit he's churning out. TNA isn't offering any competition, so this seems the only other threat. UYI
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Edge and Eddie I think also. I am pretty sure Eddie lives in Texas to be near his children. Erm, list of wrestlers that live in Tampa, hmm, Edge, Christian, Jericho, Nash, Big Show Farroqu (?) - are there any more? Angle lives in Pittsburgh and Benoit in Canada. EDIT: Oh, and would NWA:TNA count as national wrestlers?

I think his rapid hair loss (which kind of caused the hair match) is very revealing. People act like we rip on HHH soley for using steroids. We rip on him for using them to the point that he was totally immobile for a while (and not much better now) He was litterally so fucking big that Angle had a hard time doing the German to him at NWO 02.
