1234-5678 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Jericho (been the same size for 10 years) I love Jericho, have since ECW, but he is clearly bigger then he was, even in WCW days. not that that means steroids, but it is still suspicious, just like anyone else. haVoc 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Jericho use to be pretty cut. He bulked up and lost that cut. If that was from steroids wouldn't he get more of that muscle built look like Triple H? People should be more worried about the pain killers and other drugs these wrestlers take more then steroids.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Still skeptical. Whatever. Live in denial. I'll vouch for Slovakia and say I think the joke was that the Post isn't really the best newspaper out there. Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 I think Vince needs a good steroid trial to slap him in the face so he can wake up to himself and realise the shit he's churning out. You realize that while Vince was busy with the steroid trial, some of the worst WrestleCrap in all of history was produced, right? HELLO, UNDERTAKER VS UNDERTAKER. haVoc 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 True, but I have the internet now and reading all the news from backstage during a new steroid trial would be fun. Besides, the product sucks and it's been a slow "news" week. We need some people to get caught & fired so the law suits, gossip and shit talking will begin. This fuckin' company is going to entertain me one way or another!

The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 So I take it I'm the only guy who marked like a lil' bitch over the Taker vs. Taker deal. How old were you? I would've been going into third grade at the time, and if I watched WWF, would've marked, because I loved playing Street Fighter II and having mirror matches so that Ryu fought Ryu and one was EVIL! By the way The Hudsucker Proxy is great

By the way The Hudsucker Proxy is great Oh I wasn't all that young, I was 14. I just thought it was cool so see it, I loved the image of them both in the ring at the same time, going back and forth. I'll always mark out for that match/feud. Kudos to you for realizing the greatness that is The Hudsucker Proxy, but alas, it's almost time I change my sig. Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Since we're doing our bi-monthly "Who's roiding" thread, I figure I'll stir the pot by mentioning that I don't think Angle is on roids because his body is the same shape from year to year, despite various injuries which have given him plenty of time to bulk up. I think Cena was roiding during his bodybuilding career but I don't think he is anymore. He looks positively massive in those photos compared to today. Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Why do so many live in Tampa? Is it for the warm weather? I imagine after tours they want warmth and the beach and shit I guess... There's some loophole that keeps rich people from losing their mansions, I've heard.
Toxxic 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Hmmmmm... Now I think about it. Jericho, christian, Big Show, they all live in the Tampa area. Jericho doesn't look like a roid monkey. And if Show or Christian are on steroids then if I were them I'd be complaining bitterly about the effectiveness, since Xtian looks like a cruiserweight that's been streched a bit and Show looks like he's pregnant with a hippo. Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Until someone shows me concrete proof (and none of this HE HAS BACNE~! or HE HAS BIG MUSCLES~!) I won't believe anyone in WWE takes steroids. Supplements yes, duh. But illegal steroids I will not believe until someone shows me proof. Nieve, yes. Legally correct, yes. Yeah--if there are roughly-as-effective legal supplements, what's the point in risking using illegal substances? There's no such thing as roughly-as-effective supplements. Toxxic 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 That's just maternity weight. Trust me, if Mae Young can give birth to a hand, Show can give birth to a hippo. Probably at about the same time Vince is too preoccupied with a steroid trial to care about ANYTHING his company puts on tv. *looks at last sentence* Is anyone sure that Vince isn't being prosecuted now? You realize that while Vince was busy with the steroid trial, some of the worst WrestleCrap in all of history was produced, right? HELLO, UNDERTAKER VS UNDERTAKER. While this is also true, on the flip side, the title was put on Bret Hart in order to get away from the larger, freakish sized wrestlers and show that the WWF could focus on actual wrestling. Hopefully...this could transfer into a lengthy title reign for guys like Benoit or Eddie if this were to be true... AND Anyone fired from WWE because of roids will probably end up in TNA. Toxxic 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Christian is actually a big dude. Remember you're always seeing when he's around other big guys. Oh yeah, I know he's big. But he's taller than Benoit, and Benoit's built like the proverbial brick shithouse whereas Christian's more wiry. Of course Benoit's probably naturally stockier than Christian anyway, but if Christian IS on roids then comparing him to other suspected/likely/no-way-they-can't-be roid users, he's pretty small. I'm not saying that he wouldn't stand out as built in normal company, just that he's on the lower end of muscle mass on the WWE roster.

Toxxic 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Hopefully...this could transfer into a lengthy title reign for guys like Benoit or Eddie if this were to be true... Benoit and Eddie can wrestle - but they're also names being thrown around as possible steroid users. i must say that looking at Benoit I find it impossible to believe that he doesn't use them. Of course I know jack about this, being a 175lb weakling, but my mate's a bodybuilder/wrestler and I'm pretty sure he has his doubts about Benoit's "naturalness". He also says that if Lesnar hasn't done roids then his body size at the age of 25 is truly scary. Then again, what about bloody Rene Dupree. The guy's what, 20? He's a year younger than me and isn't much smaller than Benoit. THAT'S scary.

He's a year younger than me and isn't much smaller than Benoit. THAT'S scary. Bodybuilding is all about genetics. There are other variables but that's basically what it's all about. I can't emphasize that enough. Some people can just look at a weight and grow while others who are more dedicated and hard workers won't grow at nearly the same pace or have even close to the same amount of muscle on their frames. For example take a wrestler that can't make it over 180lbs without outside help for his weight training which is actually really impressive for said individual because of his genes. Now take someone else the same heigth but with different genetics and they can easily surpass that 180 mark even if both of them are training the same exact way. In fact wrestler A could train smarter, rest better and so on but still won't come close to wrestler B who could slack off and still destroy wrestler A in gains. That's just the way it can work. I think it would surprise a lot of people on the difference several wrestlers would look if they were completely natural. Wrestlers they wouldn't give a second look as to whether they were on the roids/growth hormone or not. One thing I'd like to add- I always give people the benifit of the dobut even when it's super obvious someone's one. I hate it beyond anything when someone says, "They're on the juice" just because someone has a little bit of muscle. Guest Gatornibs Report post Posted November 3, 2003 Eddie and Cena are definitely on them. I doubt Edge is because of the off time. Christian isn't. Bubba isn't. Big Show isn't. I'm guessing Savage and/or Hogan could be a few Tampa ones. I know all above mentioned live in Tampa except maybe Cena, but his veins popping out just standing there is so obvious. Christian and Jericho are clean.
