Undertaker: He Buries Them Alive DVD (PAL)

WWEB001

Available mid November

Approx running time: 55 minutes

Running Order:

Step back in time and visit the early years of the Phenom known as Undertaker. Five classic matches that set the stage for one of the most feared and popular Superstars in WWE history?

Matches include:

Undertaker vs. Undertaker

Undertaker vs. Kwang

Undertaker vs. Yokozuna

Undertaker vs. Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart

Undertaker vs. Jerry 'The King' Lawler

I know we have been asking for classic matches on WWE DVD's but what in the blue hell are these?

Kwang was around when they had all those really terrible gimmicks. He was a ninja.

Even as a mark, I knew that Undertaker: His Gravest matches Coliseum tape was crap. And I was a HUGE Taker fan, too. But I'd say that a good 90% or more of the matches on the tape ended in DQ or countout, resulting in a fluke Taker win.

Is this the one released in mid-97? Cause if so, I already have it.

Unless they include some kickass extras featuring 97 Austin at his finest, I'll be happy with my vhs version.

It's just the VHS, transferred over to DVD.

It's a PAL-only (aka UK-only) "Attitude Era" release.

The tag with Gilbert was Steamboat's surprise return leading to the start of the feud with him and Flair.

Flair's debut match ended up not happening, and he gets in an altercation with Piper.

PWI thing I THINK is from 1989, which ends in chaos.

Final Nitro is the farewell matchup-speech with Sting.

-'Cause Stone Cold Said So was the first Steve Austin video release in 97 or 98. For those that don't have it, it's Austin in full character nararating over clips from his first WWF year, including his King Of The Ring matches, Austin 3:16 speech, clips from the Brian Pillman house attack, long clips vs. Bret Hart at Wresltemania 13, and a bunch of other random Austin beats up people segments. It's a pretty fun video if you're looking for Austin just as he was becoming huge, but don't look for complete matches or anything.

-Undertaker: He Buries Them Alive is indeed a Coliseum video from the mid 90s. I don't have it, but Im pretty sure it's just the matches listed probably all from house shows or Superstars or something. A strange re-release likely to coincide with the buried alive match with Vince and his impending return to the deadman gimmick.

-As for the Flair extras, the more the merrier!

Still they couldn't stick Flair/Anderson on this SOMEWHERE?

And maybe it's just me but it's a god damn shame they don't have The Horsemen Return segment.

Agree about Flair/Anderson, but mark it down now, my gut tells me the Horsemen Reunite segment will be an easter egg.
