Guest RollingSambos Report post Posted November 21, 2003 Do you think they will go with Cena vs. Lesnar for the WWF championship, or go for the interpromotional title vs. title match of Goldberg vs. Lesnar? And which would you rather see?

RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 I have no desire to watch WM 20 as well. Unless they stack it with 3 *awesome* matches (And I'm talkin legit awesome) it won't be worth the $500 you have to pay for it.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted November 22, 2003 Honestly, I'd watch it if they heel turn Michaels, send him to SD! and feud him with Angle. Other wise, the card isn't looking good and they've kind of left Angle out of anything important, so I don't care.
Guest Besus Report post Posted November 22, 2003 I already seen Lesnar/Cena 3 Times and Im not interested in Brock/Goldberg. Neither.
geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 The HBK idea is a good idea. But would christian shawn make a good heel anymore? I would also personally mark out for HBK-Foley one more time.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 They've booked Goldberg poorly. His "quest" for the title sucked, his title reign has been lacklustre, and he isn't nearly the same wrecking machine he was in WCW. He isn't "Da Man!". Brock hasn't looked especially strong either. The whole appeal of Brock vs. Goldberg is that it's two "unstoppable forces" colliding and they both are "regular guys" right now living off their past when people actually wanted to see the two go at it. Cena vs. Brock... *shudders*
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted November 22, 2003 I've seen three Brock/Cena matches. They ranged from Godawful to really bad.
tpww7 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 Cena guaranteed he'd be in the Mania XX ME at Mania XIX, but WWE doesent care about that.
AlwaysPissedOff 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 Ugh... neither. Flu or not, Brock/Cena from Backlash(?) sucked balls. Don't wanna see that ever again. As for Brock/Goldberg, like RRR said, the mystique that should surround a match like that is pretty much dead and buried with how weak both guys have been booked this year, so no way. Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 I'd like to see Rey Mysterto vs. Eddie Guerrero though. Other than that, eh. Cena is cool but Brock vs. Goldberg isn't as big as it could have been. If it was WCW Goldberg vs. Face Brock, then we have something.
Guest Deebo Report post Posted November 22, 2003 I agree that neither should be the ME. But what do you all think should be the Main Event then?

Guest Ray Report post Posted November 22, 2003 Ugh, I don't want Cena in any Wrestlemania main event. There's always a Rock/Brock rematch waiting...

Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 I don't want to see either. Both would be train wrecks. Angle/Michaels would be a fun match to watch, but I think Angle should be more involved in the intricacies of the main event somehow. If they didn't do the Angle/Benoit overkill in 02-03, then I would love to see an Iron Man match between the two. As for Cena, I think he should have a program with The Rock, if Rocky is actually available for a WM XX program. That would be a fun match and the promos (plus buildup) would be a riot. haVoc 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 Damn, guess I'm the only one who would like to see Lesnar throw Goldberg around the ring like a rag doll. If they both drop their titles and face off in a "special brand vs brand match" at 'mania, would that be better for you guys?
Jack_Bauer 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 Well, I dont care. But if Orton wins the RAW title, I'll fucking go through the roof.

KingPK 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 I agree that neither should be the ME. But what do you all think should be the Main Event then? ....good question. With all the hype WWE is slapping onto this event, I don't think they really have a mega-money match worthy of main eventing such a big show. It seems like they're trying to build some matches up already, but I don't think there really is a hell of a lot of opportunity to make something special. Although (and I am probably alone here), an Undertaker-Kane HIAC where they do nothing but pound the ever loving shit out of each other might be something. Lesnar shoots and rips Goldberg apart. That's what I want.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 It looks like Goldberg / Lesnar is already set. I'm just hoping neither of them will be world champions when its gametime.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 22, 2003 I still believe WWE was expecting to go with Angle/Lesnar V at WMXX until they saw it wasn't drawing and that Angle's neck isn't in complete healthy shape and likely aren't and rightfully so comfortable with having Angle in the Main event anyways. I still believe that they should just extend the Benoit/Lesnar feud to Mania and have Benoit go over there and finally win the WWE TITLE. That of course leaves, Cena, Angle, Eddy as the SMACKDOWN big three faces and Smackdown lacks Big Heels other then TBS. As for AS suggestion for Angle/HBK...You are just putting Angle in Jericho's position he was in last year....You really want that? Besides what's the basis of that showdown? Who no-sells the most? Who has the outlandish comeback? (Put Hogan in there for a 3 Way then)...The match will be good no question, as long as Kurt's Neck holds up. The Raw Main seems to be headed the Orton/Batistia Vs HHH route...Which leaves Goldberg NAKED unless wwe goes for the Austin/Goldberg match...
