Nevermortal Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 http://xbox.ign.com/articles/446/446422p1.html Yeah, guess what? It looks like fucking ass. One film they did NOT need a game version of is Fight Club.
Renegade Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 "We founded Genuine Games, intent on bringing together some of the best and brightest development talent in the industry," said Russ Gubler, Genuine Games' CEO on his Website. "Our charter is not simply to make games, but to deliver the kind of AAA titles by which others measure themselves," "Key team members share our vision and have a keen understanding of the contribution that they each will make in building the Company's technology and infrastructure." lmao
The Amazing Rando Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 how dare they ruin the legacy of one of my favorite fucking movies... I'm still waiting on the Disney version... Mouse Club... "you are the all singing, all dancing crap of the world"
Slayer Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 Rule #1: Do not talk about Fight Club: The Game
Boner Kawanger Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 They're wearing shoes. The point of Fight Club is not beating people up. The graphics suck. I can think of maybe five characters from the movie you could be. Save us, David Fincher.
razazteca Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 Would Meatloaf's bitch tits bounce like the women of KOF or DOA?
Karnage Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 The game will probably not even get the actor's likenesses. Now that's even worse.
Lightning Flik Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 The game will probably not even get the actor's likenesses. Now that's even worse. Have you seen the pics? Pitt's character (damn, I need to watch the movie, I forgot the names) looks more like a sup'ed up Super Saiyan...
razazteca Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 Tyler Durden was Brad Pitt Irv the bar owner Angel Robert Paulson was ML Aday Are the only fighters I can think of right now.
The Amazing Rando Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 I'd love to go around as Angel Face and just knock people out... that pretty boy needed a mean streak
Conspiracy_Victim Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 So, a movie about giving up material possessions in exchange for a more anarchistic, narcissistic existance gets turned into a video game... oy vey. Would that qualify as: a) ironic b) hypocritical c) stupid e) all of the above
Guest Skironox Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 At least it's not going to change the movie for me. It's not like I'm ever going to play this game. I won't watch the movie and think "Hey, I remember the game they made after this. It sucked ass boils!".
Cuban Linx Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 I'm surprised it took this long for someone to turn Fight Club into a shitty video game.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 It took a while for them to churn out a crappy Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon game... At some point, I think video game companies give up and say "We've wasted X amount of time and money on this game, and even though it A) sucks B) isn't really finished, we might as well put it out for sale and see if we're lucky enough to trick a few people into shelling out $49.99 for the game so we can keep our jobs for another 6 months..
