Guest Salacious Crumb Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Haven't seen this mentioned yet. Who do you think will be our iron man and ring clearer this year. They always show up. Iron Man: Chris Benoit Ring Clearer: Batista
Austin3164life Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I haven't been watching in a long time, but I'm thinking Chris Benoit is going to be the work-horse that he usually is, and Kane is probably going to clean house.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Benoit is number one, so obviously him. I'd say Batista/Show/or Kane.
BifEverchad Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Kane dominated the 2000(?) Rumble, so I doubt he'll be the force again this year, and Show has nothing to be built up for, so I'd like to see someone new or young get the role of the dominator and have it someone like, Matt Morgan. As for the IronMan, obviously Beniot. How about another yearly Royal Rumble question of: Who's NOT going to be in the Rumble match that SHOULD be?
Guest Choken One Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Ironman:Benoit No ring clearer unless Benoit pulls a backlund.
Guest ManKinnd Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Kane cleared the 2001 rumble, so not him again. I'm guessing Goldberg will get this year's honors. It worked so well for him in the Elimination Chamber.
Guest Choken One Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I wouldn't do it with Goldberg...Because I have him at #28. Where he can make his long enterance and Evolution can pull a Bret on him and beat him down...enough so that when #30, Randy Orton Comes in...Goldberg gets tossed back in and Orton stupidly slaps him around...Thus awaking Gberg and Gberg SPEARS both over the ropes...
Guest Fook Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Iron Man - Benoit Ring Clearer - Batista
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Ironman - Benoit Ring clearer - Goldberg or Kane; but if he's in it, Taker
Guest Choken One Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 'taker? No chance that hes in this one.
Steviekick Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Taker's too busy with his looming feud with Kane to worry about the Rumble. However, it would be cool if he came down with the old school entrance to distract Kane and have him get eliminated to further their feud.
Jack_Bauer Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Iron Man : Chris Benoit Ring Clearer : Kane untill Undertaker shows a hint of appearing, Kane gets put off, and Benoit eliminates him. That's my guess for the final two.
Guest ManKinnd Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Oh, great. The "wrestler gets distracted by another wrestler's entrance and is beaten" AGAIN. Are you guys freakin' serious? That finish is soooo played it's become ridiculous.
razazteca Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Mark Henry will knock out most of the Smackdown hosses until Albert and Big Show double team him.
Scroby Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 The iron man is gonna be Beniot..no doubt about it, but as for Ring Clearer. There won't be one, unless WWE decides to make all the big men come in at differant times than one another. There's going to be to many "power houses" in there i.e. Goldberg, Kane, Henry (he might eat someone, and I sware he doesn't have eyes.), Batista, Big show, and Batista. So there might not even be a ring clearer and besides it wouldn't make any sense to have one, since Beniot is most likely the one to win....then again this is WWE.
Use Your Illusion Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 I wouldn't do it with Goldberg...Because I have him at #28. Holy crap, that's a truly awesome concept. That end spot would defintely add the many highlights of the Rumble. SOMEONE HIRE THIS MAN!
Guest Choken One Posted January 7, 2004 Report Posted January 7, 2004 I wouldn't do it with Goldberg...Because I have him at #28. Holy crap, that's a truly awesome concept. That end spot would defintely add the many highlights of the Rumble. SOMEONE HIRE THIS MAN! The shit writes itself man...It makes Goldberg look tough for surviving a 3 on 1 beatdown and Orton shows his cockiness and immaturity again... The problem is...Gberg's chances of being able to pull the move off in one shot will be tough so in effect it'll have to be more of a crossbody then a spear UNLESS! At the time, Let's have TBS playing Yokozuna where like 8 guys are trying to eliminate him which would mean what? The ropes are naturally pulled down at the time...BAM! That would make it easy to pull that off...
CanadianChick Posted January 7, 2004 Report Posted January 7, 2004 I think they'll be two iron men: Benoit and Cena. If Heyman puts Benoit as number one, what's preventing him from putting Cena, another guy he doesn't like, as number 2 or 3? As for ring clearer, I'll say Batista. I would usually say Kane, but he'll probably do something with Booker and Undertaker. I say he tosses out Booker, and then Taker comes and tossses if out, setting up the feud, blah, blah, blah.
