"Tuesday I wake up looking forward to the Lincoln Park concert that night at the old Spectrum... The concert was amazing. The crowd was super into them and this was like the 5th time I have seen them live... The LP is really the best live band to see. They were super over all night. After the show I buy my $10 bootleg T shirt in the parking lot from some guy. GOt to love those bootleggers."

Something tells me that he wouldn't like it if I tried to sell bootleg ROH shirts outside their shows.

Well that's my idea of a good time: listening to the same song over and over again. What? Linkin Park has had more than one song? Huh. They all sound the same to me...

Actually, there is one of their songs I like: Faint.

I must admit, the synth line on that song is pretty groovy.

I was at that same concert, and their performance really is fucking awesome. Not the best live performance out there by any means, but it was definitely worth the $0.00 I paid for it. And had I had to pay for it, the entire show was likely worth $20. Fuck POD; I'm glad I was in the back during their set, and didn't have to hear anything but it garbled through the walls.

What a hypocrite, though. The guy goes after anyone who sells/trades his tapes, yet buys a bootleg Linkin Park t-shirt.

I wish I had seen him there, and let's leave it at that.

Being a fan of Linkin Park only confirms the rumors of Rob's homosexuality.

Yeah, I can support that statement.

i will go ahead and third that.

I just hope when he saw Linkin Park he didn't have to put up with the same insincere crap we were unlucky enough to receive at Reading this year.

"I just want to say, headlining Reading is the greatest night of our whole lives"

and

"I'm so excited I want to shit my pants and vomit over the whole stage"

And they were horrendous. Technically very tight, but what they were playing in such a tight manner made me feel so sick. Worst band I saw at Reading...and I endured the Revs

I'd fourth it, if I didn't see Rob with his hot-ass asian girlfriend in Philly. She was a piece of ass sent from the Gods.

Oh, and if he likes Slayer, he's ALL MAN~!

Get over yourselves.

Linkin Park are a pretty good band, once you look beyond the fact that they are a pop band.

The TSM Metal crew does not use the fact that LP is a pop band as the basis for its hatred. It uses the following criteria and many other:

• Their singer's voice is annoying, has limited range, and sounds like a whiny child.

• Their rapper...see above. He also has poor delivery.

• Their guitar parts are really weak.

• All their songs sound the same, musicly and lyricly. Everything is about how his mommy doesn't love him, everyone's mean to him, and no one understands them.

Linkin Park is just another generic nü-metal band. They have the bad vocalist who just whines, a poor rapper, lousy guitars, and songs that aren't well written.

Rule 1 of the music folder of TSM:

If it pop, it sucks because it doesn't sound like<insert, indy, metal, or pre-80's music>.

Rule 2 of the music folder of TSM:

If you personally don't like it, not only does it suck but everyone with a different opinion in music has bad taste.

Rule 3 of the music folder of TSM:

Different opinions and common sense need not apply.

Not true. As long as you can explain in a logical way why it is good/listenable.

Rule 2 of the music folder of TSM:

If you personally don't like it, not only does it suck but everyone with a different opinion in music has bad taste.

Kinda true. But how can you complain that an individual's preferences influence how they judge a band's talent and base their musical tastes? So someone having different tastes is a problem?

Rule 3 of the music folder of TSM:

Different opinions and common sense need not apply.

And what is wrong with that?

My response wasn't so much as to glorify the greatness or "machismo" of slayer, but to point out that rob is a fucking tool and no-one should listen to him.

I just like stuff that isn't crap. For example - Sparks (though conceptual and ironic) = Godlike pop music, displaying structure and orchestration no one had really touched before, Linkin Park = Uninspired, dull pop music that will have no positive effect or influence on anything that follows it.

As for current pop music, Kylie Minogue > Linkin Park

I'd rather listen to every Linkin Park album than listen to one Slayer song.

What am I saying? I HAVE listened to every Linkin Park album over even one Slayer song.

If that makes me gay, one of you faggots come suck my dick.

This is the type of thing that makes you people look like idiots.

If it isn't to our tastes, then you don't know good music.

It's absolutely typical of you people.

Alot of people will like bad pop music, because it's normally what's pushed on MTV and the radio. This doesn't make it wrong for people to call them on it.
