Parents are Dems

Grandparents were Reps

I'm Indy

Why am I?

Cause I don't agree with any party out there and none of them have it right. I have friends who are Reps, I have friends who are dems and frankly if they get offended cause I'm part of a certain party then why the hell would I want them as friends.

It's all bs anyway since both sides are freakin insane....but the independent parties are even MORE insane. God.

Again, you don't need to agree with everything in the party! Hell, I disagree with just about everything in my party but I stay registered so I can vote in the primaries, why willingly leave yourself out of part of the process?

I end up agreeing with the conservative viewpoints more often than I do with the liberal ones so mark me down as a registered Republican.

I also checked "Decline to State" Does anyone know what the rules concerning the Demo and Rep. Primaries are towards me in California? Can I participate?

Both allow us to vote in primaries but you must choose one.

Also, DTS voters can vote in primaries if the party allows it.

why should your party preference play any role in being allowed to vote in primaries. If you are a member of the "Pink" party you should still have a say. I don't even know what I'm registered as

Of course, if you're like me, you could ignore that little technicality and simply switch your party registration so you can vote in the primaries. Too bad I have to stay as a registered Republican for my job....

Because I don't agree with either party so why the hell would I register with one to pick one of their candiates that I may not vote for?

I don't want to pick the candiate for the dems or the reps because I don't feel like getting grouped into either.

If I could register with both parties and vote in both primaries, then sure I'd do it. But you can't so I'm not slapping a label on myself just because.

See, you say "MY PARTY". I don't WANT to be part of a party.

I'm registered as...  Canadian.

But you see, that's not on the list.

*checks to make sure*

Yup. Definitely not on the list.

It pretty much counts as "liberal" these days.
