Guest jpclemmons Report post Posted February 2, 2004 baseball, the records are becoming more irrelevant each year with steroed injected players and its boring as hell to watch NCAA football, the way its run is a joke. especially with the B©S system. NASCAR, 500 laps going around in circles is mindboggley boring. MLS, I watch the english league for real football(socker) excitement.

ant_7000 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Sometimes playoff baseball is boring and becomes too strageic. Golf- all that green grass make me think of bbq's with the fam thou, but its hella boring. Nascar- Cars going into circles for 3 hours=boring Soccer- I don't know when does it actually ends, I cant get all excited when guys run 100 yards back forth to score 1 point during a whole game. NBA Eastern Conference- I hate they always schedule the two offensive struggling teams in a marquee match up, I don't want to watch the a Nets vs. Sixers vs. Celtics vs. Pistons game that the scores that'll be in the 70's in a 48 minute game. Think Over Coaching has fucked up the NBA game IMO.

Vyce 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Golf. And NASCAR. Although neither are real sports. But both are insanely shitty and boring.
Guest MikeSC Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Easily soccer. FIFA, MLS, etc. The fans overseas don't riot because the games are thrilling. They riot because they are BORED. -=Mike

Swift Terror 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Sadly I have to say Golf. I never would have said it a few months ago, but since a 14 year old girl scored better than several PGA players--who are grown men and the world's best--I have to question its validity as a sport. In a few years she'll be smoking half of these guys.
Guest jpclemmons Report post Posted February 3, 2004 I actually think soccer is quite exciting at times, especially if you have a rooting interest in the teams. But the stuff we watch at this side of the pond(MLS, Mexican Liga) is like watching paint dry. The Euroleagues are the best places to watch the beautiful game. lomasmoney 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Well yeah if America wasn't completely retarded about soccer and the MLS was actually on tv then maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Give the MLS 10 more years to the point where the last two or three generations have grown up playing soccer as much as basketball and the league will be of greater quality

As long as I have a team to root for I can get very into soccer. The World Cup is practically a holiday for me as I watched every game televised and rooted hardcore for England. MLS does suck though. Insane Bump Machine 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2004 A game of soccer can be really exciting even if they score only 1 or 2 goals the whole game. Hell, I've seen 0-0 draws that had me on the edge of my seat at times. There's so much strategy involved that you don't get if you only watch a game here and there. There are also so many little things that make the game great, like 1 on 1 battles between two players who play on the same side of the pitch (Roberto Carlos vs. Salihamidzic/Sagnol in the upcoming Champion's League round will be very interesting), arguing about fouls and referee's decisions (dammit ref, that wasn't offside!! That's crap!), biting your nails when a penalty is given, the calmness before the storm of a Nedved free kick, great solo runs by players like Ronaldo or Michael Owen, and when a play clicks with some great passing and a nice finish it's just beautiful to watch. If you think that soccer is boring you just don't get it (yet). Believe me.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2004 I don't watch Soccer but I know that I'd never play it. Why? It just seems to take so much more skill than any other sport. It looks extremely difficult to do.

sfaJack 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2004 MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL - EVERYTHING and I mean EVERTHING they do is horrible. I guess you missed this last year's playoffs then. As for me, if the WNBA, golf, and boxing were eradicated from the face of existence, then I don't think I'd complain. The WNBA just sucks, golf isn't even a sport, and boxing is about as real as pro wrestling.

It looks extremely difficult to do. Hardly. It's not difficult if you've been raised with a ball at your feet. It's just a case of passing the ball, keeping the ball close to you, and hitting it cleanly. If you can do that, you'll fit in in any game in the park. I'm a goalkeeper. nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2004 The fact that it's hated LEAGUE and not just hated SPORT makes this list a little longer than I'd have thought: Basketball bores the hell out of me in general, so the NCAA (both men's and women's), NBA, and WNBA would all have to make the list. NASCAR - I just can't fathom how this "sport" gets 100,000+ crowds to turn out and watch people drive in a circle. Even the accidents are less exciting then they used to be. Golf - both men's and women's. Dull, dull, dull. Even the highlights don't interest me. Men's tennis - serving 135 miles is impressive, but it makes the game boring to me. I'd rather watch a long point, with a good back-and-forth rally. (and women's tennis is Ok, because I find a lot of them attractive) But, most of all, the sport that I hate the most is MLB. It's most likely because I live in Boston, and most fans here spend more time talking about the Red Sox than they do all 3 other teams combined. But baseball itself is as boring as watching paint dry. I'd rather watch tranny porn than watch baseball, playoffs included.

C Dubya 04 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2004 Include me in the soccer is boring category. I would watch any sport before I sat through a soccer game. nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2004 Not a soccer hater, but wanted to follow C Dubya's Simpsons lead: TV Announcer: The Continental Soccer Association is coming to Springfield! It's all here--fast-kicking, low scoring, and ties? You bet! Bart: Hey, Homer, how come you've never taken us to see a soccer game? Homer: I...don't know. TV Announcer: You'll see all your favorite soccer stars. Like Ariaga! Ariaga II! Bariaga! Aruglia! And Pizzoza! Homer: Oh, I never heard of those people. TV Announcer: And they'll all be signing autographs! Homer: Woo-hoo! TV Announcer: This match will determine once and for all which nation is the greatest on earth: Mexico or Portugal! EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2004 I'll get into the spirit of the topic. Football sucks. The center snaps something called the "ball," through his legs to the quarterback. Then he passes this "ball" to guys known as the "tight end" and the "wide reciever." Presumably the wide reciever has more experience. Nope, football's not ghey at all.
