Dustin Rhodes is usually neither of those....although there was the time after the Marlena split. Vincent Kennedy McMahon - Sounds strange, but will you EVER remember the guy as a successful business man (he took WWE and made it Global, that is success)? Nope. Just an insane mad man running the WWE. Kurt Angle - When he's the Olympic Jackass, we like him. Otherwise, we tend to forget he's there. (So far) John Cena - His current Rapper gimmick is being molded into him that I doubt he'll probably ever need to change it. It's kinda funny that way. Stone Cold Steve Austin - Say what you will, but do most people remember "Stunning" Steve? The Ringmaster? Not really. Stone Cold is what people will probably remember to the end of their days. HHH - Anyone really remember that pompus ass nobel called, Hunter Hearst Helmsley? No? Anyone remember The Game? Yes? Good. Edge - He's just fun loving, dorky (heel or face) Edge. Only time he was different was when he was in the Brood. Lance Storm - Who preferred Lance Storm in his "Can I Be Serious For A Moment" Schtick? I know I certainly did. I believe that once Charles Wright took on the role of The Godfather, not even the powers of Papa Shango and Kama combined could take him out of the gimmick. I can't think of too many that haven't been said. There can be arguements for guys like Roaddogg, but that is more of a personality now, as I am assuming it is similar to what he is doing with B.G. James. I kinda saw it odd when Crash was a Mattitude Follower, just because that didn't seem like Crash, but that may be argument for a different thread, because I don't think it exactly fits the question. The only one that I don't recall being mentioned is Scotty 2 Hotty. Although by now I doubt they will remake him by now, but I'd assume if they ever decided to make him a serious Scott Taylor (maybe for revamped Cruiser division of whatver), it would never work and only be met with chants for "The Worm". Then it was discarded and Dustin languished around the lowcard of the WWF and WCW until he returned to the Goldust character and got over again.
