Guest Krazy Karter Report post Posted February 9, 2004 ProWrestling.com Scott Steiner was left off the RAW Japan Tour even though he and his brother are wildly popular in Japan. Steiner, was instead back in the states doing autograph signings over the weekend.
Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted February 9, 2004 I'm surprised both Steiners aren't over in Japan as they would make more over there than they would with Vince.
Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 Any reason why they're so huge there? Did they used to do tours there against teams from Japan?
Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 Any reason why they're so huge there? Did they used to do tours there against teams from Japan? Correct. Since the Steiners are such a stiff working team, they were easily able to adapt to the Japanese style and then became popular.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 9, 2004 Ummm...Rick Steiner is done. He was injured and thus can't wrestle...
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 9, 2004 Any reason why they're so huge there? Did they used to do tours there against teams from Japan? Yep and that was pretty much their existance in WCW in 1992, they would just work Japan shows all the time and were like GODS over their. It's a shame they never really were able to bring that excellence to america with the Japanese teams...The best they had was at Wrestle War 1992 with Tatsumi Fujinami & Takayuki Iizuka...However it got overshadowed by one of the GREATEST matches of all time which came RIGHT after it. Downhome 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 All I know is that I don't miss him when he's not around. I don't really know why, considering I'm not that big of a fan of the guy at all, but I was really getting into him at the end of WCW.
Highland 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 That's because he was being booked properly--especially during the dying days of wcw--as a monster out to hurt people. Scott Steiner is meant to be a heel, not a face and it's no surprise wwe took so long to figure that out, but now it's too late, since Scott is no where near the wrestler he once was. Oh I loved Scott Steiner in WCW, he was one of my favorites based on character alone. My quote though, I was talking about Rick. *ducks*
Guest Astro Report post Posted February 9, 2004 Rick had shoulder surgery botched. He supposedly has trouble raising his arms over his head.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 10, 2004 I remember him calling Baltimore a shitty town and no one seemed to argue with him in the crowd.
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2004 Dang, that was Great American Bash '99. Right after he and Scott set 'rabid dogs' upon Sting. Ah, WCW, how dearly you are missed. UYI
Guest goar Report post Posted February 10, 2004 I was a huge mark for the Steiners, and Scott in particular, during the early 90's. I remember Scott fighting Flair on a Clash and being in heaven. He's one of the few remaining "stars" I haven't been able to see live, I was hoping he'd pop up tonight.
IWD 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2004 He's one of the few remaining "stars" I haven't been able to see live, I was hoping he'd pop up tonight. The only time I saw him live was on the World Wrestling All-Stars tour - I think the match was a three-way: Steiner vs Road Dogg vs Brian Christopher.
