King Cucaracha Posted March 7, 2004 Report Posted March 7, 2004 So how long is it until the next 'Raw to change to Nitro' rumour. Should be close by...
Spaceman Spiff Posted March 7, 2004 Report Posted March 7, 2004 The only one I can't really say who wouldn't go back would be Tazz. Only because I think it would screw up the commentating on Smackdown. Unless WWE wants him to work both, but I would get Tazz a differant partner other than Cole, Ross, Matthews, Coach, yes even Snow, etc etc Tazz has a bum neck, plus he's probably horribly out of ring shape. He's happy doing commentary. It's a pretty safe bet that Tazz will never wrestle another match.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted March 7, 2004 Report Posted March 7, 2004 I would find this interesting if they let Heyman do all the booking. I don't know why...I just would.
Guest Infinit Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 If the ECW Arena couldn't be had for whatever reason, a great "homebase" would be the Hammerstein Ballroom...that place had a great feel and would be pretty central for the Northeast ECW fanbase. If done correctly, it could work. And that's a BIG if. J
MillenniumMan831 Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I got a bad feeling they'll just tape "ECW" before Smackdown and change the watermark at the bottom left of the screen. Other than that, it'll probably be same ol same ol.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Why is Balls banned from wrestling in several states?
Steviekick Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Why is Balls banned from wrestling in several states? There was a no blading/blood rule from the Maryland Athletic Commission and he had been warned repeatedly and violated it. In a match with someone (I'd like to say Steve Corino), him with a chair and he juiced. Because of that, he's been banned from working in Maryland, and I think a couple other states that their commission is linked to.

The show that happened at is near where I live (Salisbury) and I was pissed that it happened when I was down in SC (it was April 2001). I would have so been there, and it was actually RVD who was his opponent.

Guest JMA Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 yes but Tazz could side with Heyman and leave Smackdown to go commentate on the ECW show. A commentary team of Tazz and Styles? That would be interesting.

I thought it was someone who kicked a lot, but for some reason I could only conjure up images of either Eliminater and wound up thinking of Corino. It was propably from a Van Daminater.

That would be interesting. Eh, that would be..interesting. I honestly don't see Styles working for Vince though, but if Vince wanted this ECW project to get off the ground sucessfully he'd probably do just about anything to get him for commentary.
MrRant Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I just hope they are smart enought not to have the WWE flash and also the ©WWE at the end.
Scroby Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I never said anything about Tazz wrestling. I ment annoucing.
Slickster Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I just hope they are smart enought not to have the WWE flash and also the ©WWE at the end. Well, all Alliance WCW trademarks and merchandise were the property of 'WCW, Inc.' located at WWE's corporate address, so they'll probably just do something like that (i.e. make a dummy corporation and run it through that).
RavishingRickRudo Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 The WWE is clueless. They'll put it in a smaller arena, have the lil logo at the bottom of the screen, and have some of their hardcore matches and say it's ECW. Meanwhile, the Camera work will be the same, the cliches will be the same, the ring will be the same, the style will be the same. It will be ECWWE; a sheep in wolf's clothing.
geniusMoment Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 All I know is that I would give anything to be at the first show back. If it is at the ECW arena, it would be a long drive but I would go through anything to see it.
