EdwardKnoxII Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 So for those that are going to watch WM20 how are you going to do it? Order it from home from friends, bar, etc. Since me and my friend don't feel like spending $50 were going to see if Hooters is going to play it. How about you?
ChrisMWaters Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I am going to BE THERE! WHOO! First WrestleMania...second PPV (Rumble this year was my first. MADE THE DVD!)
Guest Choken One Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Bar. There you can spend 20 bucks and LOAD yourself up as opposed to ordering it and snacking off leftovers cause you can't afford to bring in food.
DangerousDamon Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I'm goin over to a friend's house, where we all pitch in money to order the show. Speaking of money, how much does Mania cost? Something tells me it's 50 bucks.
Aero Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Order on PPV and basically have a WM party with friends. We always have good times, even if we're watching a bad show (Backlash 2003)
Fökai Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 DVD, because of two things: --University is shady in terms of PPV purchases. --Webcast doesn't seem to be offered on Shopzone (at least not yet).
Slickster Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Hopefully, at a local college. If not there, then I'm sure I'll find the online password somewhere.
SamoaRowe Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I'm just going to buy the dvd when it comes out. I have other plans for sunday night because I don't have ANY friends planning on watching the show, I don't feel like going to a crowded Hooters by myself, and there is no way in HELL i'm paying $50 bucks for a show that I would be watching by myself (especially when I'm only going to pay 13 bucks for the dvd in two months, with all the extras and such).
Cran Da Maniac Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 So for those that are going to watch WM20 how are you going to do it? With my eyes. Actually, I may buy this one on PPV
EdwardKnoxII Posted March 8, 2004 Author Report Posted March 8, 2004 Question isn't there a website to show you what bars and whathave you are showing the ppv? Either the WWE site or somewhere else.
Art Sandusky Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I don't know how anyone could possibly wait for the DVD to see this. I'm already bursting with excitement.
SamoaRowe Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I don't know how anyone could possibly wait for the DVD to see this. I'm already bursting with excitement. I'm excited, but I just don't really have any worthwhile way to watch it live. I did the same thing with Wrestlemania XIX last year.
Guest Choken One Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Exactly... If you wait for the DVD...You aren't a TRUE fan. If you don't wish to spend the 50 bucks...go to a bar...Don't give me the shitty "I can't find one!" excuse...every fucking Bdubs, Hooters or related sit will be airing WMXX.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 A friend of mine down here's mother isn't letting him order WrestleMania on Pay-Per-View, and she says that he should watch either Raw or SmackDown!, as they're so close together (Friday and Saturday nights down here). I mean, what the fuck? I will be ordering it LIVE on Pay-Per-View. Hey Chris, where are you on the Royal Rumble DVD?
ChrisMWaters Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Hey Chris, where are you on the Royal Rumble DVD? When they go to the empty chair in the front row, wondering where Foley is, look for a bald guy in a WrestleMania XX shirt in the upper left-hand corner. ANd if possible, screen cap it so people who don't own the DVD can see me.
Star Ocean 3 Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Oh no! I'm not a "true" fan because I'm waiting for the DVD! I guess I'll stop watching all together.
SamoaRowe Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Exactly... If you wait for the DVD...You aren't a TRUE fan. If you don't wish to spend the 50 bucks...go to a bar...Don't give me the shitty "I can't find one!" excuse...every fucking Bdubs, Hooters or related sit will be airing WMXX. Whatever, I don't need the approval of others to know if I'm a true fan or not. And it's not my fault if the card is less than exciting.
Matt Young Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I'll probably be back in Illinois by then, so I'll either be ordering it with friends or fellow wrestling trainees (if a group of them orders the show) or, if they're broke like me, we'll all go down to Hooters just like every other month. Either way, I'm not missing WrestleMania. I missed it last year due to girl troubles, but no fucking way am I missing WrestleMania XX.
Zetterberg is God Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I'll order it, just as I do with every PPV.
Mole Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I have no idea at this point. I am going to Virginia Beach for spring break and I am not sure if the motel we are staying in will have PPV for it. If anything, I'll find a bar to see it.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I don't know how anyone could possibly wait for the DVD to see this. I'm already bursting with excitement. Eh, ONE match has received a good build up. Maybe two if you add in Kane/Taker. I'm interested, but not so much that I'm gonna blow off other committments and watch it when I can wait a month and buy it for half the price and watch it as often as I want.
Ed Wood Caulfield Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Ordering it live on pay-per-view. Call me a mark, call me gullible, but I brought into the hype and am now spending $50.00 for WrestleMania XX. I haven't been this excited for a pay-per-view in a LONG time. I can't wait for the show.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I doubt I'm gonna watch it. And I'll have to wait 3 months for the DVD - but I'm cool with it.
NoCalMike Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Question isn't there a website to show you what bars and whathave you are showing the ppv? Either the WWE site or somewhere else. The WWE site has a list, but it is only specific sportsbars that WWE has licensed to show their ppvs. I am sure plenty of other sportsbar do it anyways. Your best bet is to open your phone book and start calling sportsbars in your town.
