The 2004 Stanley Cup Playoffs thread

Recommended Posts

Wow, they are booing like crazy for the anthem.

The Habs fans booed the anthem 2 years ago, too ... for a city that tries to pride itself on being classy and Euro-esque, they really have low-class fans up in Montreal. Other than Philly, they're fans might be among the worst I've encountered while seeing games on the road.

They have to find a way to make SOME noise in Jersey.

And fuck, this game's going to give me a heart attack. At least the Sens fans booing Sundin is kinda funny and lightens the mood, a bit.

I am a Rangers fan so I kind of don't care but are the Islanders ever on? I guess they are on Metro TV and I don't get that.

Thanks.

Ed Belfour = Toronto Maple Leafs.

I can seek some solace in the fact that he can't keep playing like this forever. At least, I hope not.

I kinda hope he does. You need a hot goalie to help you win the Cup these days.

Leafs have home ice advantage again. Gotta love that...

Amonte gets two goals but NJ keeps plugging and gets the win.

St. Louis wins! Wooo! Not dead yet! Keep it going boys.

can't anyone pin this thread?

2-1 MONTREAL

Now, see, I need to be the Sports Mod (sarcasm/joking).

Anyways, that second goal against Raycroft was just brutal. What the hell is Boston doing making a line change that late in the period?

I think Boston is physically tired, like 2 years ago. Montreal is out hitting and out chasing Boston to the puck, and finally beating Raycroft.
