Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 23, 2004 Queen Faith No More Silverchair The Offspring The Dandy Warhols Faith No More and Queen ask that you remove them from the list of people who suck ass. I don't know the Dandy Warhols, but Offspring and Silverchair are fucking horrible. Queen, Faith No More, the Dandy Warhols and Silverchair (no longer - Daniel Johns is now the frontman for the Dissociatives) are/were great. The Offspring? They are sell-outs, like most bands/artists these days. Before they released Americana, I liked their music a lot.
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 I thought you would have Michael Jackson in your five? He'd probably be a tie in with Aerosmith, however now that I think about it, MJ should probably be at number 5 for me. Never fear, MJ is still King in UYI land. Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 outkast, a current artist, gets a spot on the 'all-time' list and not on the 'current' list? Tindersticks is a "current" act, as well. Also, under "of this moment," I listed a band which broke up over five years ago (The Wedding Present) and another band, Wire, who is still active, but had a phenomenal string of albums a quarter-century ago that I am currently loving. What's your point.

Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 What's your opinion on Send, just out of interest? I like the first half, but it loses me when it starts getting industrial-tinged in the second half. Not to say that it's bad, but it's just stuff I don't normally listen to.
