Highland Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 L&O (all series) Justice League Yu-Gi-Oh (Shadow realms) Shadow Raiders Highlander (series) American Justice (old music)
starvenger Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 I forgot to mention a couple of guilty pleasures: - Teen Titans (catchy Jpop-ish theme) - The Greatest American Hero
Guest MissMattitude Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 The Simpsons, Married With Children, Father Ted, The Young Ones, Bottom.
bob_barron Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 No love for the Dick Van Dyke show? I mean come on- either he trips over the thing, or he sidesteps it!!!
treble Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 -Drew Carey -Where In The World is Carmen San Diego? (I always wanted to be a contestant on that show)
Lil' Bitch Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 I also have to go with Married With Children, MASH, and Highlander (series).
Guest MissMattitude Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 I forgot Fresh Prince, that was awesome.
Nighthawk Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 No love for the Dick Van Dyke show? I mean come on- either he trips over the thing, or he sidesteps it!!! Well, yeah, of course. It's fantabulous.
Ed Wood Caulfield Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 All versions of the MST3K opening, although I've always loved all the Mike versions of the opening the best.
WrestlingDeacon Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 Dallas. That seventies tri-split screen stuff is classic and the theme song is great. Especially the late seventies-early eighties version where they use the wa-wa funk guitar in it.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted April 23, 2004 Report Posted April 23, 2004 Definitely Monty Python's flying circus. Terry Gilliam cutout animation is what the entire world should look like. The Sousa just makes it sound a thousand times more important than it is.
Drury37 Posted April 23, 2004 Report Posted April 23, 2004 Wow so many here are my favorites: -Saved by the Bell -ALF (Him putting the video in the VCR just kicked ass!!!) -Full House -Perfect Strangers -Family Matters -Cheers -California Dreams -The Wonder Years -Married... With Children -Taxi -The Dick Van Dyke Show -Laverne and Shirley -ESPN Sportscentury: The one's with the years -Saved by the Bell: The College Years (The show wasn't the greatest but the opening kicked ass!!!) -Saturday Night Live (The one from this year) I know I am probably forgetting a bunch but these are the one's that I can remember. Thanks.
AlwaysPissedOff Posted April 23, 2004 Report Posted April 23, 2004 I love topics like this... Married... With Children- timeless Batman: The Animated Series- I used to get chills listening to the music climax at the end. Teen Titans(both versions)- Just awesome. YuYu Hakusho(Japanese version)- Addictive. Yu-Gi-Oh!(American and Battle City Finals/DOOM Saga openings)- "Warriors is a great theme and the American version is cathy if you listen to the whole thing. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(both versions) Family Matters- "Days gooo byyy..." Power Rangers- the first few seasons before Turbo and everything since Time Force except for the season after it that had that Tarzan reject as the Red Ranger. Transformers G1 Voltron- Man, that was fucking cool back in the day Cowboy Bebop Neon Genesis Evangelion 24 The second Drew Carey opening Justice League- I just love how the animation works with the song especially when they are walking towards the screen with the sun coming up behind them. Batman Beyond- That song was badass. Ultimate Muscle's American opening(I've been singing it all day... heh.) Shaman King's American opening(aside from that incredibly cheesy ending of it)
Scroby Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Aqua Teen Hunger Force!!! The opening Dr. Weird scene is always great ESPICALLY when the camera is zooming in on the castle and he pops outta no where and yells BULLSHIT! F'n great Sealab 2021 Nightcourt- I want dvd's damnit! (also dallas dvd's for that one guy.) The Critic-Nothing special but set a nice tone.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I like 24x1, The Simpsons, and Married... With Children later in the show, when Al was balder, and he realised that his life just wasn't going to get any better. Nice shots of Chicago there, too. I discovered the Married... With Children marathon this morning after my Texas Chainsaw Massacare all-nighter. And then I fell asleep for about 5 hours. Bud: "Hush, fossils."
Jorge Gorgeous Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Aqua Teen Hunger Force!!! "GENTLEMEN... WHERE IS MY HAIRARIUM!?" "Its on your head...." "... ... ... BULLSHIT"
Anorak Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 The old school Grange Hill opening is easily one of the best ever.
Nighthawk Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I've never seen that, but I like the song.
