Or Cubs and not think "Mr. Cub" Ernie Banks? (hell, I'd put Ryne Sandburg as more associated with the Cubs than Sosa). And a team like the Celtics are like the Yankees or Canadians: too many great players have worn the uniform for one, and only one, to be associated with them. The only ones that I can think of right now are the new, expansion teams: Hornets = Larry Johnson Heat = Alonzo Mourning Lighting = Vincent Lecavalier (although St Louis might replace him in a year or so) Wild = Marian Gaborik

It's like the old question and answer, "Have you lived here all your life?" "Not yet." I think that this question has gone a little astray too. There are some teams that don't really have an answer IMO. Like the Lakers, Yankees, Red Sox, Celtics, etc. If a team has a wide range of great players from several different eras, it's hard to say that you associate a single player with that team.
