Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 I didn't bother to order the PPV, but can anyone post a few pictures of Mordecai? I've only seen his vignettes, and they don't really do much, and I need to see what his attire looks like (for my SD game)
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 Yikes....I'm getting vibes of a smaller Kevin Nash with a bloated face.
Jobber of the Week Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 Yikes....I'm getting vibes of a smaller Kevin Nash with a bloated face. As I said in the other thread, it's as if Nash and Brock ran into each other at lightspeed and merged into one person.
Guest Choken One Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 I say just blend Jeff Jarret with Scott Steiner and you got Mordecai
David Blazenwing Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 Here's a pic of ol' Fertig, sans Mordecai gimmick. Imagine that with white hair and you basically have the Big M.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 Thanks for the pics, I think I got a clear idea of how to make him.
The Tino Standard Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 His look just screams "indy gimmick."
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 His look just screams "indy gimmick." Are you surprised he is on Smackdown?
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 His look just screams "indy gimmick." I preffer the Seven look on him, but I'll give it a chance. The fact people told him to sell a lot LESS means he was actually trying to have good matches with people.
Guest Anglesault Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 I still can't believe the Mordecai that they are feeding Booker T to the Undertaker for is Droz's drug dealer in a bathrobe.

Slickster Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 I still can't believe the Mordecai that they are feeding Booker T to the Undertaker for is Droz's drug dealer in a bathrobe. You said that earlier, so you already met the quota of Vic Grimes-related posts today.

Jobber of the Week Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 I still can't believe the Mordecai that they are feeding Booker T to the Undertaker for is Droz's drug dealer in a bathrobe. So, uh, would it help if he was wearing something else?
Open the Muggy Gate Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 I turn back the wayback machine to 2001... when he was in Memphis Wrestling. He was a pretty good wrestler then, and I think he'll be pretty good on Smackdown. Right now, "pretty good" on Smackdown is "HOLY FUCKING GOOD" for them.
TheBigSwigg Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 I want to say that they stole the character from my best friends fantasy wrestling character, as they have the same basic look and their promos are nearly identical. I just can't see WWE ripping off fantasy wrestling feds for ideas.
Downhome Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 I just realized that he reminds me of High Voltage.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 I want Fertig Come back Gitref Nilknarf!
muzz Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 Meh, I don't mind his look. I bet they're hoping he'll get over on looks and entrance alone, though.
Guest Dids Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 Meh, I don't mind his look. I bet they're hoping he'll get over on looks and entrance alone, though. Not with his entrance so slow. In the 25 minutes it took him to get into the ring I'm pretty sure that Akio and Kidman could have just bolted. I like the look, don't like the gimmic, and hated hearing Tazz and Cole trying to sell it.
BHK Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 Well, regardless if you like or dislike the look, how was his presence/style of wrestling in general? In other words, is it possible for him to actually seem like a credible threat to Taker when they start fueding?
