Damaramu Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 So what reality TV show would you most like to go on? If you had a choice of any one of them which would you go on? I would probably go on Survivor because I think it looks like so much fun. I think I'd have a great time on that show and I think I could make it to the jury. I'd go on Real World or Road Rules just with the express purpose of being able to be on the Challenge shows. Those look like fun and I'd like to be on them and if a stint in the Real World house or Road Rules RV is what it takes to get me on the Challenges then so be it. So what about you guys? *This topic is mainly for people that watch reality TV. If you hate reality TV then don't jump in and remind everyone how much you think it sucks.*
MooreMark Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I'd like to see how far I would make it on American Idol. But I wouldn't want to be seen on tv that much..on that kind of show. So I pick Big Brother because I love how the game is played and the diary room would be mine.
Mik Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Real World. Nothing to do and you're totally babied.
A Happy Medium Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Even though you can't play video games or watch tv, I'd go on the Real World. I'd either be the character who doesn't show up half of the time, or I'd be the house crazy man. *Has fond visions of himself leaping through a coffee table and then having a whole episode dedicated to him bleading a lot and being taken to the hospital.

Oh yeah. That person. Like the asian chick this season. You show up in the background of random shots and you never really say anything......yeah those people are cool. I wouldn't mind being that person. As long as I'm not the loud asshole who's always drunk and starting shit. Then again I think you have to be that person to be on the challenges.
Damaramu Posted May 22, 2004 Author Report Posted May 22, 2004 I think the biggest thing with Fear Factor is the fact that you have to be pretty much not scared of getting hurt. I mean not many people if any have been seriously injured in the past have they? So you know nothing life threatening will happen on the show so you can do the challenges pretty easily with that in your head.
Guest Evolution Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 If it was still around, I'd definitely go on Murder in Small Town X, since that was the only interesting reality show. Other than that, I'd probably go with The Real World as well, no TV and no video games be damned.
razazteca Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Real World. Nothing to do and you're totally babied. There are things to do! You could get drunk, start arguements with roomates over racism, walk around nude, and get a free vacation to europe or africa. Then get called back to play games against the other mtv reality stars the next season. I mean not many people if any have been seriously injured in the past have they? On the show Dog Eat Dog a contestent nearly drowned and was passed out for a few seconds.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Amazing Race is the only show I like and I would definitely like to be on it. Free trip to somewhere, possibility to see a whole lot of the world for FREE.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 The Real World or Making The Band.
Lil' Bitch Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I could do Fear Factor, I could do anything they give me...except eating stuff that is not meant to be eaten. I couldn't do that. X amount of money to eat raw sheep eyeballs, no thanks.
BlackFlagg Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I think I'd do best on Big Brother, I'd be the quiet guy who's well liked all around and slips through the cracks till the end.
starvenger Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Amazing Race is the only show I like and I would definitely like to be on it. Free trip to somewhere, possibility to see a whole lot of the world for FREE. Gotta agree with The Amazing Race. The downside of it is that it's like backpacking on crack, BUT if you go a few legs you're almost sure to see places that you haven't been before, and presumably you'll being doing it with a buddy or loved one. Seriously, if they allowed Canadians on that show I'd be applying every time out...
The Amazing Rando Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Murder In Small Town X - that show was one of the greatest reality shows of all time. Sad thing about the winner though. But still, great suspenseful show. I would go on Road Rules if it was back in the original four seasons or so. After that it got to "you must do all this crazy shit" for me to not get scared and wimp out. I'd do Real World. I'd be the guy that talked when no one is listening.
starvenger Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I think I'd do best on Big Brother, I'd be the quiet guy who's well liked all around and slips through the cracks till the end. Speaking of which, Alison from the last Big Brother is gonna be on The Amazing Race. We have a contender to usurp (Shut up,) Flo as "most hated Racer ever"...
Damaramu Posted May 22, 2004 Author Report Posted May 22, 2004 You know......what does it take to get on most of these shows? I mean what do you have to have in your application or video that makes you a sure fire pick? I know for Real World and Road Rules you need to be a young person that looks like a model(at least these days). But for Survivor? I think they like to take the most unlikely canidates for most of the show and then stick a couple of studs in there.
HarleyQuinn Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Probably MTV's "Fear" if you would considering that a reality show
razazteca Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I would'nt mind getting some free plastic surgery.
The Mandarin Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 Fear Factor, so I could hang out with Joe "Pimp Daddy" Rogan.
Exslade ZX Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 Real World. Second choice Big Brother. They both are kind of the same concept, and it's just somethign that intrigues me about that. Although I'm sure it'd really piss me off at times.
Guest Choken One Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 I'm saddened by the lack of "Mole" support. This show was very intelligent(not counting the Celeb version)...and I love the concept.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 Real World so I can get into fights with the drunks and get kicked off. or Road Rules so I can make fun of all the bad people on the missions and get kicked off.
starvenger Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 I'm saddened by the lack of "Mole" support. This show was very intelligent(not counting the Celeb version)...and I love the concept. The "celebrity" version was only good at showing that supermodels aren't dumb - or that "celebs" aren't as smart as you'd think. I'm not sure which. Anyways, The Mole would indeed be #2 on my list, but I simply love The Amazing Race more...
Guest El Satanico Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 Real World. I'm the lazy sort and don't much care for getting jungle rot. I'd hang around until the vacation trip, then I'd try my damnest to get booted off. I'd also make sure to break out the race card before the token minority gets to do it. "How dare you talk like that to me white boy...I was born a poor black child"...Of course everyone would think I done lost my mind calling out another white person on racism.
spiny norman Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 I'd go for Big Brother first, but the Australian way of playing it which is different to the US way (I think). Everyone votes for two people, the three with the most votes are nominated and then the viewing audience has a week to decide which one should go. And no alliances are allowed at all. Next pick would be Survivor, then The Mole.
Ravenbomb Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 Real World. I'd try my hardest to creep all the other people out
Tawren Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 I'd go on Who Wants To Marry My Dad (NBC). ...what?
