Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 Question: has a HEEL ever been arrested? I can't remember ever seeing that happen, but it might be something a little different. You know, I always wondered why no police arrested HHH for openly admitting he committed assault on HBK back when they first started this retched feud. Or why no one arrested Kane for admitting to involuntary manslaughter and molesting a corpse(is that an actual crime? I forget). I beleive that is called necrophelia, and it is illegal in most if not all states. Damn, I watch to much Law and Order.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 The distraction walk in if you will with the theme music. Why is it every time this happens somebody in the ring turns around to the titantron and gets pinned with a roll up? Or the guest third announcer who is silient during the whole match then when the match is over beats up their rival.
haVoc 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 This was an honest to God idea Kevin Nash expressed in an interview with Wrestleline shortly after the sell of WCW. I went to them about four months ago and said 'Why don't we do this: since it's a work, why not have 12 rows deep of people, and put green screens around them. Computer digitize the whole thing. Do it front of 400 people in the building, pay them $50. Now you go into your archives, take your beauty shots from different arenas, and tonight - from the studio, do the show. Why don't you just say you're in Tibet? Everything's a work, why can't that be a work? Now you put in a sound stage with your sets - commissioner's office, locker room. It becomes a television show, and that's what it is. The reaction to this idea was like I was speaking f*cking Latin. What I tried to explain to them was the reason why people don't watch our shows? Because the production quality is so bad, it makes everything else that shitty. Then the laugh track played after Nash said that.

Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 Face challenges heel to a title match. Heel authority figure says that this match is too important for INSERT CITY HERE. Papacita 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 On the heels getting arrested thing, Vince had Taker arrested back in 99 during the Ministry angle. They haven't done this in a while to my knowledge, but lord knows I was sick of hearing the heel respond to a face challenger by saying "I'll face you anytime or anywhere...BUT NOT TONIGHT!" They did that like every other week for a while. Another thing I noticed last night...why is it that during every pull apart brawl, the face has to leap over the top rope and take out the heel and the wrestlers that are trying to separate them? Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 25, 2004 How come no one remembers the CLASSIC HHH gets arrested storyline...where he got arrested on Smackdown and he came back on Raw and Questioned everyone from Angle to Rock to Foley and TBS but it turned out to be TEST who had him arrested and Test cut a promo that make the Rock go "damn man!". Test's only other worthwhile achivement...the other was getting carried by the bosses son.
JHawk 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 In the same vein, do they really need the ring there? I mean, jeezuz, they've been doing that whole "ropes" and "turnbuckle" and "mat" thing FOREVER. Not to mention the whole "live crowd" thing. They've only been doing that for 100 years. Not tired at all. Nope. Actually, the AWA tried that during the Team Challenge Series. You saw how well that turned out.

Guest netslob Report post Posted May 25, 2004 i concur on the the whole "Heel comissioner" thing, and it's polar opposite, the "Face comissioner", who always favors the faces. Mick Foley is and was my favorite wrestler, but i absolutley HATED him when he was comissioner. he came off as such a pandering kiss-ass it made me sick. just, once, could they have a commisioner/figurehead who was completely, 100% non-biased? a comissioner who wanted what was best for the SHOW and not one set of wrestlers with a certain philosophy. JUST ONCE, i would like to see this. if it doesn't work, then fine, but at least give it a shot.
