OMG HE SAID TAKE THAT BONE OUT OF YOUR NOSE -- I'm shocked that an FM DJ would say something like that. Hell, I've said worse than that. I must be a RACIST, too. Oh, wait ... I am. Shit... I mean using that reasoning OMG JESSE SAID HYMIE-TOWN~!! lets just face it. They are both racist, basicallly useless human beings. I am just saying that Jesse has a better claim to fame than Rush does. Plus I have never heard Jesse say that celebrities should shut up because no one cares about their political opinions, when he is no more qulified to give his than they are. And I just noticed you have 2 times the post I have . you fucking whore.

Guest MikeSC Report post Posted February 18, 2005 I don't know...the take that bone out of your nose before you talk to me is right up there with Hymie-town and yes Jackson isn't shit now, but I still argue that is the product of power. At one point, Jesse Jackson played a important role in America. Even if he is a jew hating crook. He has at least done SOMETHING. Jesse has done one thing: Enrich himself by pimping out people too dumb to realize that he is not their ally or friend. I don't, personally, view that as a positive. -=Mike

Jesse was on a shitty CNN show and has made an ass of himself, rather routinely, for years now. -=Mike
Jingus 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2005 Rush played a major role in the Republican takeover of Congress. How's that? Rush does nothing but recite standard right-wing rhetoric. All he does is give hardcore conservatives someone to nod in agreement with while they're listening to the radio. He is nothing but a disk jockey, essentially. He has no special political background or experience. He has no more right to speak on political issues than any other schmuck off the street.

All he does is give hardcore conservatives someone to nod in agreement with while they're listening to the radio. He is nothing but a disk jockey, essentially. Rush INVENTED "standard right-wing radio rhetoric". He INVENTED the friggin' genre. Before Rush, there was NO right-wing radio. He has no special political background or experience. He has no more right to speak on political issues than any other schmuck off the street. I take his views more seriously than John Kerry's. -=Mike
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2005 All he does is give hardcore conservatives someone to nod in agreement with while they're listening to the radio. All he did/does is energize the Conservative base to vote for Republicans, which any clear-thinking individual has to admit, he is effective at doing. Neal Boortz sums it up best when he calls Rush "The Godfather." And Mike, it's RIGHT-WING RADIO -- get it straight, hippie...

Someone put a mike in front of him. Shouldn't having a camera put infront of you give you more of a right to talk about politics using this method. So basically what I am saying is FUCK Rush Limbaugh.
Guest sek69 Report post Posted February 19, 2005 Someone called into Hannity's show today saying they converted to conservativism by watching Rush's TV while in jail (the jokes make themselves). The real hilarious part is when the caller went to describe Rush as a guy who promotes conservatism by talking about (and taking a stand on) morals. At that point I was wondering if Hannity was being pranked. (ps to kkk: I make a point to refer to the genre as a whole as "right wing radio" because that's what it is. I know you want to make it the next FOXNEWSLOL2005 but are you going to argue that radio isn't about 90% right wingers running down their list of talking points?) I would have to disagree, but supposing you were correct, I would be suddenly very ashamed to be a conservative. He's a pundit. No self-respecting American should ever put THAT much stock in what the pundits have to say (whether they be from the right or the left); they should research the issues themselves. SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2005 Some people have forgotten how popular Rush Limbaugh was 10 years ago. Fortunately, his popularity has faded. I take his views more seriously than John Kerry's. Kerry: -U.S. Senator for 20 years. -Lt. Governor of Massachussettes. -2004 Democratic nominee for President of the U.S. -Former Naval officer. -Yale graduate. Limbaugh: -Host of popular radio show where he's the only person allowed to talk. -Former radio DJ. -Flunked out of college.

The ultimate fictional John Kerry quote: "I'm proud of doing something I'm ashamed of." .... His protests were pretty well documented after the war, and I think we'd all agree that he promoted the fact that he was in Vietnam... I don't really see the fiction in the claim.
