New WWE Match Concepts

I was thinking of a new match concept...how about a GLASS PANE (PAIN) match!? Just take one of those glass pane boxes that are situtated in the corners of the Elimination Chamber and expand that motherfucker to encompass the whole ring.

 

Or...how about a mirror match? Think of 4 mirror walls surrounding the ring. Just the sight of seeing a wrestler's face smash against a mirror, drawing blood, in addition to fissures and cracks in the mirror would be a cool sight to behold. Think of the final scene in Enter the Dragon.

 

Or...how about a rope ladder match ? Just seeing a wrestler reach for the belt, only to find himself swinging uncontrollably from one side of the ring to the other a la Tarzan would be pretty cool.

Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium has an interesting option. You can set the win modifier to a 2 count. That'd be interesting to see in WWE, particularly with good tech wrestlers or cruisers.

1. A Drunk Match- The participants chug a bottle of Everclear before heading out to the ring.

 

2. Heroin Ladder Match- During the build-up, you get the participants hooked on heroin. Then you cut them off a week before the match, hook a bag of Mexican Black Tar heroin and a clean needle to a strap and hoist it above the ring.

 

3. Torrie Wilson Special- Torrie Wilson kneels down on the outside. The first person to bust a load on her face wins. Think of the psychology involved~!

 

4. Water Match- The ring has small walls placed on the side, and it's then filled with about a foot of water. Then they fight. The water can be replaced with gasoline or Mercury for any Bradshaw matches.

 

5. Genocide Match- 10 members of any race are lined up on the outside of the ring; 5 on each side. First person to kill all 5 of their victims wins. Think of it as a "Last Man Standing" match that Bradshaw would get a kick out of.

I did that with Mystery Eskimo once in the OAOAST.

 

Anyway, I propose they stop calling these "Hell in a Cell" matches by that name and call them for what they really are A Streetfight in a Cage. Make it seem like a new match and the marks will love it.

 

If you want to run the traditional HiaC match, with the spots and the fun and the interest and whatnot, use the name.

A Cruiserweight match where on each corner there is Vince, JR, Johnny Ace, and Bruce Prichard. And each time a Cruiserweight tries to go to the top turnbuckle or spring off the ropes the closest of the four Shocks him with a TAZER! its the Anti Cruiserweight match!

here's a few i thought of, but they're kinda crappy:

 

'Iron Ring' match: regular streetfight, but with the ring ropes replaced with chains.

 

'Chair-shot Match': a chair is placed on a pole or suspended above the ring, and the first one to hit his opponent with it wins.

 

"Jungle DeathMatch" : regular deathmatch with a huge mess of pricker/briar bushes and cacti placed outside the ring.

 

"Reverse Battle Royal": battle royal that takes place entirely outside of the ring...opponents are eliminated by being thrown INSIDE the ring.

 

"Marathon Match" : two wrestlers start the match outside the building, first one into the building and then into the ring wins.

 

"Chain Gang Match": same as a Marathon Match, but the wrestlers are connected by a chain around their ankles.

 

"Suicidal Tables Match": first wrestler who throws HIMSELF thru a table wins.

 

"Double-Chain" Match : wrestlers are connect by the wrists with two criss-crossed chains, left to right, right to left.
