Most people say they won't order the show, but will anyway. The ones who don't order it are the ones who never order, unless it's WM or something.

 

When, and why, did Luther/Haas get added? Seriously, I was getting all excited that London vs Nunzio would be added after their little skirmish on SD, but instead I'm subjected to this crap? Bah. Oh well, I get to see the show for free in the UK anyway, so I'll just tape it and watch it sometime through the week.

 

This card looks abysmal. As in worst ever. Worse than JD. I would have been kind if Nunzio/London was added, but no. When half of the card consists of:

 

Luther vs Haas

Suzuki vs Gunn

Mordecai vs Holly

Sable vs Torrie

 

you know that there are problems. I don't think any of those matches will break 'DUD'. Maybe Holly/Mordie will hit 1/4*, who knows. Taker vs the Dudz would suck if it was just a regular match, but now that they have added all the crypt silliness it should be even worse. Another DUD. This card makes me sad. The Four-Way MAY be decent at best, but Cena has bored me since Mania, I don't like RVD a I haven't liked Dupree since the draft. I'm a big Booker mark, but even I'll admit he's been boring beyond belief this year. Only saving grace will be Booker getting the belt.

 

The cruiser match should be good, but it's been done to death. The main event vould be okay, but I still don't care about it. God I hate SmackDown.

Smackdown needs to create some more babyfaces. I mean they have Mordecai, Suzuki, Luther, Jindrak, and others they are trying to get over as killer heels...but what fan cares about any babyface on the roster aside from Eddie, Cena, Guerrero, Taker, and RVD?

 

Anyways I can't watch this show, but I'm not too bummed out. Cool they're giving away all that footage for the people who get the webcast though.

3) Will this show get a lower buyrate than Judgment Day?

1) Paul Bearer (kidnapped by The Dudleyz) is placed in a specially made glass crypt (which Heyman was somehow able to do a company to make, despite the fact he more or less told them he was going to use it to kill someone. God bless America I guess.) If Taker 'doesn't do the right thing', Bearer gets concretted.

 

2) Mordecai and Holly had a brawl last week...for no reason, other than Mordecai needs an opponent.

 

Billy and Suzuki met this week. Billy won by DQ after some Suzuki's wife threw the Japanese salt into his eyes after the crappiest sold Fame-Asser ever, which was Suzuki's fault.

 

Torrie and Sable hate each other. Why? They're women.

 

Luther is big. Haas is not. That's all the story you need.

I think WWE relegated the Mark Jindrak "killer heel" push to Velocity as he and Ted Long are gone from Smackdown. But I think what WWE and Smackdown need to do is match opponents to equal skill levels. JBL v. Eddie...no, not good. JBL vs. Undertaker...yeah, that would work because they are both brawlers. But there are no real "talented" heels on the roster to work with Eddie. All the guys they are pushing are the "power" types. Yeah, maybe have RVD vs. Eddie fued but WWE couldn't ever get RVD over as a heel, or even do a "respect" match right. Or even try their hardest to get Charlie Haas over as a heel with Miss Jackie as a bitch manager and Rico getting the gayness beat out of him. Haas vs. Guerrero would be good. Seeing as NWA:TNA are working their asses off to give WWE some competition, Smackdown should focus heavily on the cruiserweight division. All the talent on Smackdown is right there (London, Knoble, Kidman, Yang, etc). Now that Chavo Classic is gone, maybe they can rebuild some credibility to the title. Smackdown is in a shithole...and it's going to take a miracle to get them back out.

They'll be shown on Sunday Night Heat. The matches were officially confirmed on yesterday afternoon on the PPV site. When they did the card rundown on the last SD, they only announced the five matches to which you see screen caps for on the first post of this thread.

Yesterday afternoon on the GAB site, added just for the heck of it.

 

However, the big question that comes to mind is since when did Sable and Torrie hate each other?

 

Tuesday evening when Sable revealed she was jealous Torrie was getting all the attention and then called her fat. Torrie countered by telling Sable she looked like a cheap slut. A fight ensued shortly.

The Undertaker will be fighting the new WWE Tag Team Champions The Dudleyz in a handicapped match. A cement truck will be near the set parked next to the coffin / tomb / holding place of Paul Bearer. I have no idea if the cement will be poured before, during, or after the match, but I'm guessing after. I'm also guessing "the right thing" is Undertaker getting his ass kicked and losing the match.

 

2) What are the feuds behind Mordecai/Holly, Reigns/Haas, Sable/Torrie, and Suzuki/Gunn?

 

Mordecai wants to send Holly to Hell for being a fuckwad, it would be great if Charlie can defeat a big guy, see above for Sable / Torrie, Gunn wants to beat Suzuki since he had him beat on the last SD.

 

3) Will this show get a lower buyrate than Judgment Day?

 

I hope so. This PPV actually has a WORSE card than Judgment Day. I didn't think that was possible.

Well I think the show looks pretty good, I agree that the matches added over the weekend are just filler matches but they could be really good, I wait for the DVD to come out to watch it, with the exception of Wrestlemania. I think the 'right thing' for the Undertaker match is 'Taker fills the tomb therefore killing Paul Bearer

Good question. I think its slightly possible, but I dont think the odds are that good.

The whole idea of having to touch 4 corners guarantees that not much can be done here. Logically, they can't really go outside, and Eddie can;t go up top very well with his mobility limited. Only hope is for Eddie to slip out of the rope and pull something, in my humble opinion.

I actually think Mysterio's mask in that shot is that dark rainbow mask he wears sometimes outsiude of the ring but usually doesn't wrestle in. Odds are he'll wear his camo getup.
