Guest Seven Sins Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 This movie is gonna kick ass Pauly Shore is Dead Starring Pauly Shore, Jaime Bergman, Ben Stiller, Sean Penn, Fred Durst, Tom Sizemore, Chris Rock, Whoopi Goldberg, Heidi Fleiss, Ellen DeGeneres, Kurt Loder Hollywood comedian/actor Pauly Shore loses everything: his house, nobody in Hollywood wants to represent him, he moves back home with his mom and is now parking cars at the Comedy Store. Then one night when he's up in his mom's loft, a dead famous comedian appears who tells Pauly to kill himself cause he'll go down as a comedic genius who died before his time. Pauly then fakes his own death, and the media goes crazy. Celebrities are talking about him on MTV and girls are fighting over him on Jerry Springer. It's everything that he wanted...his plan worked. A week or so later the LAPD is tipped off about his whereabouts and they break down the door of the seedy motel room that he's hiding out in and throw him in LA County's celebrity wing.
Red Baron Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 you sure this a movie, or a life and times show?

Seeing as it stars Pauly Shore, I'm gonna say - no, it's not.
Youth N Asia Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 I almost like the idea...but too many people I can't stand are in the movie
Giuseppe Zangara Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 For a moment I was really happy and excited, but then I clicked on the thread.
Dangerous A Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 There is no such thing as a Pauly Shore movie that kicks ass.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 a. I read the title and thought he was actually dead. b. this movie sounds like fucking gold. Anyone who dares discredit Encino Man, Son in Law, or even In The Army Now should just go and die. Pauly is wonderful.
Guest Vitamin X Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 a. I read the title and thought he was actually dead. b. this movie sounds like fucking gold. Anyone who dares discredit Encino Man, Son in Law, or even In The Army Now should just go and die. Pauly is wonderful. [Pauly Shore]You forgot BioDome, buuuuuuuuuuddy[/Pauly Shore]
Youth N Asia Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 I enjoyed Son in Law and in The Army Now when I was younger. But Jury Duty was one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
The Czech Republic Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 I too thought Pauly Shore was dead.
The Czech Republic Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 At least MikeSC's titles are just inconclusive, not totally misleading like this.
Dangerous A Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 a. I read the title and thought he was actually dead. b. this movie sounds like fucking gold. Anyone who dares discredit Encino Man, Son in Law, or even In The Army Now should just go and die. Pauly is wonderful. I guess I need to go and just die. Too bad Pauly Shore didn't, like I was hoping when I entered the thread.
Mole Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 I think everyone clicked on this thinking he was dead and were fooled into this movie. I'll see this movie on HBO, but that is about it.
Guest Seven Sins Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 before i posted it here, I was fooled to when i found it, so i know how you guys feel.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 For a moment I was really happy and excited, but then I clicked on the thread. My exact setiments. How dare you fool us into thinking he was really dead and then instead make our lives worse by showing he has a new film coming out.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 This would be funny if it were someone other than Pauly Shore.
Guest Flyboy Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 For a moment I was really happy and excited, but then I clicked on the thread. Stole the words right from me.
Ravenbomb Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 didn't someone start this exact thread a while back?
starvenger Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 didn't someone start this exact thread a while back? Possibly, but hey, Pauly Shore beat his one-note routine into the ground, so why not do the same with Pauly-bashing?
jimmy no nose Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 I wonder if the idea for this movie began as an idea for his real life. The concept does sound funny, I don't know about the movie though.
WrestlingDeacon Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 Shore has been trying to get this movie off the ground for like five years now. The dead comedian who visits him was supposed to be Sam Kinison at one point. Has potential, but I doubt it lives up to it if it's ever made.
Damaramu Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 So why is pointing out Fred Durst a good thing?
Guest Smues Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 Starring Pauly Shore, Jaime Bergman, Ben Stiller, Sean Penn, Fred Durst, Tom Sizemore, Chris Rock, Whoopi Goldberg, Heidi Fleiss, Ellen DeGeneres, Kurt Loder You mean putting Pauly Shore in another movie wasn't punishment enough, they had to throw all these people out there? Other then the people I have no clue who they are (Tom Sizemore, Jaime Bergman) Ellen DeGeneres is the only one on that list that I can stand. Fred Durst in a movie, well why not he couldn't sing, he can't do any worse acting I guess.
Guest Fook Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 You don't know who Tom Sizemore is? Go watch Saving Private Ryan, Natural Born Killers, and Heat now.
strummer Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 Jamie Bergman is a former Playboy model who was on Howard Stern's "Son of the Beach" and was also in "Knee High PI" on Comedy Central
The Mandarin Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 You don't know who Tom Sizemore is? Go watch Saving Private Ryan, Natural Born Killers, and Heat now. And Black Hawk Down. Hint: He's not Somali.
Art Sandusky Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 I can't wait for this, if it does make production.
Toshiaki Koala Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 I know other people have said this, but... Actually reading the text of the main post was the most disappointing thing that's happened to me in a long, long time.
