Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2004 Dead Like Me, which is probably my fave show on TV right now. Some other current/past shows: X-Files, Sopranos, Oz, Six Feet Under, Northern Exposure
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2004 For the few months I had HBO XTREME(!!!!) I couldn't wait for OZ to be broadcast every Tuesday and Thursday. However, I've only seen a number of its episodes, so I'm not sure if the series would be one of my favs. I also really like the Shield, but I'm going to wait until either it's over or has a few more seasons under its belt. At least with Blue it's been around for 10 years and is going to finish up this season...
spiny norman 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2004 Does The Wonder Years count as a sitcom (I wouldn't think so, but according to the Emmies it was)? Or Buffy? If either do, then my pick is Twin Peaks.

starvenger 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2004 (edited) another regular is " Law and Order SVU" I just started watching this this year. Good thing USA shows 5 episodes a day. And for some reason, I find Casey Novak to be hot, in a pale chick kinda way. Not as hot as Cabot, mind you, but still. I'm kind of a reality show junkie, but the ones that I'd actually call "favourites" are The Amazing Race and Last Comic Standing. Also The Mole and Beg, Borrow and Deal, but given that they're on stations owned by The Mouse, we may never see another edition of either Moving on to cable, I like the World Series of Poker as well as World Poker Tour, Good Eats and $40 a Day. There's Trading Spaces as well, but I can't really get into the new designers. Give me a combo of Vern, Gen and Amy Wynn and I'm happy. kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2004 well, the usual knock on it is the gay shit that SOMETIMES happens... The gay stuff doesn't bother me (can't wait to see this taken out of context) -- but one thing I usually got a chuckle out of was the over-the-top stuff that went on there. Also some of the left-wing crap I noticed made me roll my eyes (anti-death penalty shit for one), but this stuff is just a fact of life. I think I saw Seasons 3/4-6... Definetly rent seasons one and two if possible, the seasons after that don't justify the show if you haven't seen those seasons..i agree, a lot of the shit is over the top, but hey it makes for great television...okay I will sto[ now so this doesn't turn into an Oz thread... Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2004 Season 4 was in two parts. And they're gouging for a 3 disk 8 episode set anyway. The 16 episode set would be brutal. Season 4a. Simon's reign of Em City! I love it
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2004 Hell why do you think I stopped at Season One, i didn't even buy that one...im not paying 50 bucks for 8 episodes, no matter how much I like the show...i have them on tape anyway so it doesn't matter... Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2004 Chappele's not a sitcom, he's a sketch show, so chalk one up for him from me. The OC is probably my favorite non-comedy show. For something that people were gonna write off as a 90210 ripoff, it's got a brilliant writing staff and awesome cast. Sopranos, of course. I also enjoy CSI, NYPD Blue, whichever Law & Order it is that has Vincent D'Onfrio (I honestly am not sure which one it is, because I always seem to catch it just after it starts or something), or any of the VH1 countdowns or "I Love..." specials that get played 75 times a week. I'm nostalgic like that.
