The Mandarin Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 Here's the link. They haven't released Junk Yard Dog's photos yet for some reason. But anyways, that Piper is looking damn fine. Hillbilly Jim is so dead on, it's scary. Anyways, not as good as some of the earlier ones (Roberts, Warrior, Dibiase), but still looking sharp. If they make Rick Rude and Hennig, I'll start buyin'.
Aero Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 I don't like the set as much as the previous ones, but Yokozuna is a must-buy for me. Everyone else doesn't look too appealing to me except maybe Piper. I'm still waiting for Series 3 for Ministry Undertaker & DiBiase.
Zack Malibu Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 If they make Rick Rude and Hennig, I'll start buyin'. There was actually a Mr. Perfect face scanned that was to be in the old Unchained Fury series about two years ago, but the figure got cancelled when Hennig got fired. There were plans to put him in the fourth series, but it's obviously a no-go right now. Perhaps in one of the later editions of the line.
Robert Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 Does anybody know when serie's three gonna ship? I'm looking to buy Snuka, Jake, and DiBiase when they come out.
Aero Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 KB, where I work, just got Series 3 in today. I actually plan on buying the entire series now, but for now I just got Bret and DiBiase. Both are amazing. Bret's figure is modeled after WM VIII, as his tights are exact this time around. He has the IC Title (not old-school unfortunately) and removeable sunglasses. DiBiase has his Million Dollar Belt and four dollar bills with his face on them. Here's a question for anyone else who collects these. Do you open the figures or leave them in package? I open them and just leave them on display.
King Cucaracha Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 Why doe JYD have big ass handcuffs? I think it's actually a dog collar.
ChrisMWaters Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 Is it me, or does it seem they used almost the same exact model for both JYD and Hillbilly's head. And they really need to release a Demolition figure set!
Zack Malibu Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 I've got the proposed lineup for Series 5 from my job (Wrestling Superstore): Paul Orndorff Terry Funk Brutus Beefcack Iron Sheik Nikolai Volkoff King Kong Bundy Other new upcoming releases will include Eugene (Ruthless Aggression 11), and the Bashams (Adrenaline 10).
The Mandarin Posted August 28, 2004 Author Report Posted August 28, 2004 Beefcack. That's genius. Jesus Zach, how do you manage to find time between watching your huge pile of DVDs, working at WSS (I've bought stuff there before, by the way.), posting on these forums and being Champion of the OAOAST? That's insane.
ChrisMWaters Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 *Wonders if the Brutus figure will have the hedgeclippers.

That's insane. Actually, my days tend to go like this: Work 8:30-8 (I'm a teacher assistant for handicapped kids until 3pm, then go to WSS). Get online whenever I can during the day. Write for OAOAST AND SWF, actually. Watch my near 400 DVD's (actually watched one of my new PWG DVD's today for a while) Social life whenever. Other than the incredible lack of sleep it all brings, life is good .
MillenniumMan831 Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 I'm actually a little disappointed that Tito doesn't have his white tights w/ the lightning bolt. Since they gave him long hair, they really should have given him the look he had from 1988-91.
DerangedHermit Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Does Tito come with a head of lettuce? [/heenan]
Lt. Al Giardello Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 I'm buying the Junkyard Dog figure, for sure.
Krankor Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 That Yokozuna figure looks very good. I agree that Tito should have the white trunks. I remember him best in the white trunks.
Ced Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 Am I risking bodily harm by actually wanting an El Matador variant of Tito Santana?
Steviekick Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 Am I risking bodily harm by actually wanting an El Matador variant of Tito Santana? That is the only way that I would buy his figure. He's too generic. *hides behind Ced*
