natey2k4 Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 There's lots of possibilitys. They could do a little Segment where Tajiri & Rhyno face off against La Resistance, where they get Bischoff to say since they lost their chance at Summerslam, they get it on Heat instead... Or they could do a Smackdown match? My choice is a Smackdown match. Smackdown has 4 matches, while RAW has four, plus the diva dodgeball. I have a feeling that heat may be Charlie Haas & RVD versus René Dupree and Luther Reigns. That's my choice. Dupree & Reigns vs Haas & RVD What do you guys think it'll be?
King Cucaracha Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 RVD/Haas vs Dupree/Reigns seems likely, as I can't see RVD not even making Heat. However, I'd say RVD vs Dupree or Reigns was more likely.
DangerousDamon Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 It'll probably be something like Jamie Knoble vs Shannon Moore or Funaki. Just something to fill up time.
MillenniumMan831 Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 My guess it will be something a little odd like RVD vs Chavo Guerrero.
Art Sandusky Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Something that more people on this board will care about than people in the arena.
Exslade ZX Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 ..I'm still going with what I've been saying since the feud started, and that's Rhyno/Tajiri vs La Resistance for the tag titles.
Guest Dazed Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 ..I'm still going with what I've been saying since the feud started, and that's Rhyno/Tajiri vs La Resistance for the tag titles. They lost their title shot on Raw, though, when they didn't beat those local guys in time. And RVD isn't even on the show? Damn, I'd even forgotten about him.

The ONLY Time a Heat Match in recent history featured a title match was WM XIX, because they were short for time. Edit: Maybe they did a CW Title Match, but I'll just say a Title the company cares about.
Dark Age Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Last year's Slam had Rey vs Shannon for the CW Title. Series had Noble vs Tajiri for the CW Title. JD 02 had D-Lo vs Regal for the Euro Title.
Guest Staravenger Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Judgement Day 2002 isn't really recent history (over two years ago...old), but I'll give you that one. Besides, whats the point of the title match on Heat anyway? No way they'll have a title change on a HEAT before a PPV.

What about when Jerry Lynn won the Light-Heavyweight Championship?
Guest Staravenger Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 How long has it been since WWE Cared about it's L-HW/CW Division? The recent champions were JACQUELINE (fired), CHAVO CLASSIC (fired), and now Spike Dudley, the worst "CW" of the bunch.
Ravenbomb Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 yeah, and how the hell is SPIKE evil now?
Dark Age Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Bubba and D-Von kept helping him in his matches, saying he needed to come home to the family. Spike finally gave in, and turned on Rey in a tag match against the Dudz. Then he put Rey through a table with the double stomp.
Art Sandusky Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 yeah, and how the hell is SPIKE evil now? Easily, he's the snivelling little asshole runt that you want to see get killed when his big bodyguards aren't around to protect him. I wondered why they didn't make Spike a heel before.

I think this is great way for Spike to get over as a heel. Seems like everbody growing up knew a complete bigmouth who ran for his big brothers at the first sign of trouble. They play this up and the crowd will be screaming for a Spike beatdown.

Because no one likes him or takes him seriously? Well, that's kinda the point. Everybody knows Spike would be nothing without cheating/his brothers, so people hate him. I too wonder why they didn't do it sooner.
geniusMoment Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Joy just cut a better promo, with the chips, than 90% of the roster.
Ravenbomb Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 Okay, I'm just finding it hard to believe that Spike is evil. I mean, has he EVER been a heel? Ever?
Guest JoeyStyles Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 Well RVD was on Heat as I predicted a couple of days ago and his match with Duppree was way more entertaining that Retard-o-mania and the WWE world title match.
