Guest jm29195 Report post Posted September 24, 2004 Oh we do, if you're talking about rare wwf video tapes, I've got Inside the WWF (1994) Bret Hart vs Yokozuna in a steel cage Wrestlefest 95 with Razor/Jannetty vs Diesel/HBK Mega Matches 95 123 Kid vs Bigelow (Bigelow does Flair flip!!) UK Rampage 92 HBK vs Savage Wrestlings Grudge Matches (93) Flair vs Taker WWF Super Slams Bret vs Owen submission match
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2004 I doubt DVD's are that old that there are out of print anything on them. jeebus. Um, first off, a DVD doesn't necessarily have to be old to go out of print. Secondly, all WWF DVDs have gone out of print for the obvious reasons. Therefore, quite a few of them have become rare and command big bucks (mainly the Wrestlemania DVDs).
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2004 WWF Super Slams Bret vs Owen submission match How good is this?
Guest jm29195 Report post Posted September 24, 2004 As you'd expect a lot better than most of the stuff from around wwf 1994, there's the obvious duelling sharpshooters plus some other nifty submission stuff, especially from Owen, I think it's from one of the first Action Zone programes

geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2004 So are some of you saying I would be wise to go to media play and buy all the old WWF dvds I could for 7 dollars and then try to sell them online for 15 a piece?
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2004 If you own a WWF DVD, you own an OOP DVD. By that logic, I have a lot. Any WM that was released on DVD I have, and I also was of the understanding the Hogan DVD was somewhat rare due to it coming out aorudn the same time Hogan left the company (for this first time in this eras run) and I believe it's also one of the last DVDs that were allowed to be released without muting references to the WWF or blurring scratch logos. Then why can Silvervision distrubute old 80-90 WWF PPVs there and not USA? The lawsuit is total BS.

Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2004 So are some of you saying I would be wise to go to media play and buy all the old WWF dvds I could for 7 dollars and then try to sell them online for 15 a piece? No, probably not. Even though they're OOP, DVDs like the King of the Ring from 2000 or 2001 wouldn't garner much cash. That's how most of them are, in fact. I'd say Wrestlemania 2000 and X-7 are the only two commanding any real cash. I can't find the Hulk Hogan DVD anywhere 'Cause Canada sucks. Have you looked on eBay? I see them there for well under $10 on a regular basis.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2004 My God I didn't know that WM X-Seven went for that much. I own it but want to keep it, but a local record store has a mint copy of it for only $11. I think I'll go pick it up and make a few bucks off of it.
res37618 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2004 I own every WWF/E DVDs that have come out, with the exception of the international tour ones, rebellion, global warming and insurextion. Rebellion 2001 is actually a really good show, I'd recommend picking it up if you can find it - Rock/Austin in a **** match, Angle/Jericho was roughly ***1/2, Edge/Christian in a cage at about ***1/2, plus as an extra, it's got Rock regaining the WCW belt from Jericho on RAW in a really good match . . . . it's probably the best international show that WWE has done, save for One Night Only. Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2004 Generous with those matches, aren't we? I've got the show and I wouldn't say the Austin/Rock match wasn't anything we hadn't seen between the two already and the Edge and Christian match was pretty dull until the last five minutes. I've got the show and I wouldn't say the Austin/Rock match wasn't anything we hadn't seen between the two already and the Edge and Christian match was pretty dull until the last five minutes. Maybe a little generous, but I enjoyed the hell out of the show . . . . it was definitely a ton better than some of the crap we've been dished out in recent months. Austin/Rock may not have been anything too unique, but the match was solid and, IMO, just as good as what we saw at WM19 from these two. I liked the show, what can I say? Minimum crap + solid wrestling + a couple of decent extras = a DVD worth owning, especially when you can find it a lot of times in $5 bins at your local chain pharmacy/Walmart/Kmart, or on half.com for next to nothing.
