But this year...Christ, I'm not sure what happened. I've got like 3 guards and 5 forwards and centers. At least we're really tall I suppose.

MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 I guess its not too late..  Court Jesters:  F - Dirk Nowitski G - Baron Davis G - Eddie Jones G - Quentin Richardson C - Michael Olowokandi F - Jarvis Hayes F - Vladimir Radmanovic F - Luol Deng  Not to toot my own horn, but based on last years rankings for Yahoo, my first 3 picks (two keepers, 1 pick) were in to the top 16 (Dirk #5, Baron #6, Jones #16) . Richardson should have a good year in Phoenix. Taking Olowokandi was somewhat of a risk although if he turns out a bust I can use Dirk at Center. My last 3 picks were desperation picks because I realized I only had 1 forward. Radmanovic should have a decent year despite coming off the bench for the Sonics. Deng was just there for my last pick and I figured he should be starting for the Bulls, so he was a better choice than some of the others out there left that would be coming off the bench.
Lightning Flik Posted October 19, 2004 Author Report Posted October 19, 2004 (edited) Well general managers. Your teams await you. Â Your team will be found on October 20th. Â Edit: *sighs* Yes, Alf. I know. Wrong Smith. Bite me, ok? I was bound to screw one person up. Â Anyone else's team I made a mistake with? Edited October 19, 2004 by Lightning Flik
razazteca Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 If I wanted to complain about something I could say that the waivers is all wrong but.....IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT! Â My rookies shall be Rookie of the Year candidates! Bawh Gawd that JR Smith is having a great preseason.
Lightning Flik Posted October 19, 2004 Author Report Posted October 19, 2004 Actually, it's not. Deal with the waivers bitch. Â *looks at dead last in priority* Â Aw dammit.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 I'm seriously loving my team. 2 players with .848+ FT% as well as Hughes with a .797 and Kittles at .787. 4 guys had between 70-80 3 pointers with Kittles hitting 97 and flipping Clifford Robinson leading my team at 112. Every player has at least 1070 points last year aside from C-Rob who still had 967. I also have 3 guys at 400+ boards and one at 500+. 4 of my players had 200+ assists and Kobe had 330 last year. My steals are strong too with my starters having at least 65 and Kobe/Kittles at 100+. Blocks I'm also solid as Kittles/Richardson had 40+ while Curry, C-Rob and Stoudemire all have 70-90 blocks.
razazteca Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 Meh, I don't care really I don't need any FA at the moment.
alfdogg Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 I should have Stromile Swift instead of Steve Smith.
Lightning Flik Posted October 20, 2004 Author Report Posted October 20, 2004 I said I knew that I screwed that up
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 The season begins tonight. Â So did everyone else look at their injury/suspension riddled team and think "What the fuck was I thinking?"
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 My team looks pretty good so far. Quentin Richardson isn't doing so well tonight but Jarvis Hayes, who I left on the bench, is having a good game.
