Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Snitsky's heat won't last. But wanna know why I kinda like him? he reminds me of Iron Mark Sharp. The world's greatest jobber.
Guest GreatOne Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Snitsky's got a short-term window--like Eugene had--and if it goes beyond that, it'll depend on what happens as far as character growth. Save yourself the hassle of coming after me with BUT HHH KILLED EUGENE! That may be true, and the Eugene character may have died out under it's own weight, but Triple H certainly did a lot to speed it up. If Gene Snitsky gets over, I won't be surprised if Triple H uses his heat vacuum on him. Sped it up? Short shelf-life gimmicks don't usually have a three-month window. HHH PROLONGED it if anything.
MillenniumMan831 Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Snitsky's heat won't last. But wanna know why I kinda like him? he reminds me of Iron Mark Sharp. The world's greatest jobber. I can't believe I never thought of that. Good call. I guess w/o the grunting, he's no Iron Mike though. Although, after his push subsides, he can take over Grisham's job and be Mean Gene Snitsky, Backstage Interviewer. 1-900-SNITSKY
Guest GreatOne Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 CALL MY HOTLINE!!!!!! But if you don't, IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!!!!!!
Lil' Bitch Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Gene also reminds me of Barry Horowitz, granted Gene hasn't become a jobber, but he has a jobber name and look to him, who got somewhere for a little bit for tangling with a Superstar.
The Mandarin Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Check out Gene's raw.wwe.com Superstar page. Supposedly, his height doesn't register AND he's from Nesquehoning, Penn. which is like one of those obscure cities Czech comes up with.
Guest GreatOne Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Like Batum and Schrag, Washington? One of these days, I'll actually find where the hell those 'places' actually are.
Guest combat_rock Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 God, that town's so obscure they probably actually have "Home of Gene Snitsky" on their sign. I've just scared myself.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 Gene also reminds me of Barry Horowitz, granted Gene hasn't become a jobber, but he has a jobber name and look to him, who got somewhere for a little bit for tangling with a Superstar. He isn't ANYTHING like Horowitz.

Guest Coffey Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 I didn't know that he was over. He came out on Raw to some noise, but I think it was because of the baby carriage. It could've been anyone in his shoes. His promos aren't good, and his look isn't anything special. His one match was a squash and I notices Val's selling more than Snitski's offense...which isn't a good sign.
JoeDirt Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 Saw this on the LoP site...don't know if its been posted yet: "For those wondering why Gene Snitsky's promos seem old school and "goofy," Stephanie McMahon had a huge influence on the style. Apparently, after his first promo came off really silly, Stephanie McMahon found it hilarious and WWE sources decided to run with Snitsky as a goofy speaker."
cabbageboy Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 Well, at least they aren't trying to be SERIOUS with Snitsky's promos. If they are meant to be hysterically bad, then it rules. How the hell can HHH even inject himself into an angle with Snitsky? I mean the guy is a jobber anyway, so no one will care if HHH beats him. He's also a heel so what reason would there be for them to fight?
Guest Coffey Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 A goofy speaker that we're supposed to take seriously against Kane? That's ignorant.
Guest CronoT Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 A goofy speaker that we're supposed to take seriously against Kane? That's ignorant. So is/was the entire Kane/Lita/Matt angle and storyline.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 If Gene Snitsky gets over, I won't be surprised if Triple H uses his heat vacuum on him. Or coathanger...
BUTT Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 <<<<<<<<BREAKING NEWS!>>>>>>>>> Ladies and gentlemen, it has come to my attention that Gene Snitsky is the only male wrestler on the WWE roster without a Wikipedia entry. Someone desperately needs to rectify this situation, and it ain't gonna be me. So people, please, work your magic.
Guest fingers Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 And he won the first FULL match I saw with him with a sideslam. Even the ref looked confused before counting the three. Dino Bravo used the sideslam as a Finisher. Nice to see it used as one again.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 I thought he won with a pumphandle power slam...
Guest Coffey Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 It was just a sideslam. It's on an early Wrestlemania that I just watched because after he hits it, Jesse Ventura is like "that's his move. He got 'em!"
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 Gene Snitsky won his match with a pumphandle powerslam, but it was executed falling to the side. It wasn't the "sideslam" motion that Bravo, Nash, and Booker T regularly use(d).
Guest Coffey Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 Oh, I was confused. I thought ya'll meant Dino Bravo won with a pump-handle sideslam. My mistake. That's why you don't use "he" as your subject when making a new statement.

Guest PlatinumBoy Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 My biggest fear is that the guy who sent Snitsky to do the job to Kane and Lita will end up being Shane.
snuffbox Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 My biggest fear is that the guy who sent Snitsky to do the job to Kane and Lita will end up being Shane. And your fear is probably correct...
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 You guys have it all wrong. HHH sent Snitsky to Abort Litas baby because the truth is he (HHH) is the father. At first, he tried bribing Lita to shut up and say it's either Matts or Kanes, but then the bitch wanted more money. Knowing that something like this would cause a rift between him and Steph, he phoned up Green Gene to take care of it. So next week you will see Lita call up Shane and tell him that the baby was really his. See, Shane and HHH doubleteamed her that night. Shane at first is relieved that Lita isn't pregnant anymore because that would fuck up his marriage too, but then he thinks about it some more and it sinks in that his son is dead and he wants revenge. He knows the one man HHH is afraid of and he'll allign with him even if it means putting aside his own hatred for the man. That man is KANE. So Shane tells Kane he wants to help him out, since "if it was his own son" that died, he'd want to get revenge on the man who did this as well. "Shane, normally I'd say I don't need help, but you're the most crazy, insane, sonnofabitch I've ever faced, and together we'll destroy Gene Snitsky". This is where Shane reveals that HHH was behind the Snitsky thing because he (HHH) was sick and tired of all the television time Kane and Lita were taking away from him and Evolution. Since HHH was the man who unmasked Kane and revealed the Katie Vick incident, it doesn't take much to convince The big red machine that The Game was behind it. The match of HHH/Snitsky vs. Shane/Kane headlines a PPV where Kane and Snitsky end up fighting at the top of the arena and HHH/Shane are battling it out in the ring. Snitsky ends up throwing Kane over, but Kane holds on to the edge and with his last bit of strength takes Snitsky down with him - killing them both. Back in the ring, HHH and Shane are fighting when Lita comes down to help out Shane. However, her plan is wrecked with Stephanie McMahon comes out to stop her. This distraction allows HHH the time to get a quick pin on Shane to win the match. Just as HHH is about to hug his wife, she gives him a lowblow and slaps him in the face. She found out about the affair and wants a divorce. She leaves the ring with her brother Shane and the show comes to an end. The next night HHH tells Lita that he still has feelings for her and Lita sez the best thing she ever did was get pregnant with his baby and she wants another one. Meanwhile, Steph and Shane are looking for the remains of Kane. To be continued
B. Brian Brunzell Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 And then Shane gets Steph pregnant. Hey, Vince hasn't done incest yet, has he?
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 Dammit Triple B, why do you have to ruin it??!
