Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 I want the Yankees to lose but at the same time it's not really worth the Yankees spending 300 million on next year's team.
The Man in Blak Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 Heh. I'm waiting until the offseason before I resurrect my Yankees rant post from last year's World Series thread (which was dead on, BTW).
BX Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 WOOOOOOO!!! Â HOW'S THE VIEW FROM MY NUTS, AngleSault!?!?

Cartman Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 This game was scripted. Â Perfect set up for the Hero to come in and shut the door on Boston. Â "What a spectacular performance by the grieving mariano Rivera, he really is the heart and soul of the New York Yankees."

Superman died this week...itd be more fitting for Mariano to choke...  Probably not gonna happen though.

mike546 Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 Phew. Â And for all Matsui did tonight, he messed tht up. He over ran the ball, and defintley had a good chance at it.

EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 When the Yankees needed an insurance run, Jeter's groundout was CLUTCH~! Oh well, perhaps his mere presence will inspire his teammates to greatness.

Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 I really couldn't take Fox cutting to him over and over in the 1st inning and just gushing over him fielding a routine groundball. Â The fun of rooting against the Yankees is really gone though. What's the point when they'll just spend an extra hundred million next year?

EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 The Sox need to bring in Foulke.
cabbageboy Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 It's funny, every time you think the Sox will somehow do this here come A-Rod, Sheffield, and Matsui to add more runs. Two on, 1 out.
snuffbox Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a melon baller than watch this series. Not a big fan of entertainment, eh?
