SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 So is Rey just there to get squashed by every flavor of the month now? Merh? I wasn't aware of any other Rey squashes? Didn't Rey just defeat Kenzo last week? And a few months ago, they put him over Mordecai? I don't think I've ever seen Rey be "squashed" at least not recently. Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 12, 2004 He's been the lucky man to get squashed by JBL several times and he was also beaten by A-Train as well.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 Why are you bringing up Rey being squashed by somebody who isn't on SD in an incident that happened well over a year ago?

DerangedHermit 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 Because he's going to be jobbing to one of the worst guys on the active roster. At least he's ON TV. And being a loser doesn't really mean anything unless they make something of it.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 Because he's going to be jobbing to one of the worst guys on the active roster. We've seen Carlito wrestle ONCE in a match that, in my humble opinion, was decent. Further more, we don't know for SURE that Rey isn't winning, though it is extremely unlikely. Yes, Rey jobbed to A-Train in 2002, which was quite a while ago. And he jobbed to JBL? Well, I know it's shameful to lose to the WWE Champion, but let's drop it
Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 Good lord.... don't judge Carlito by one match. Let's give him a chance and watch him for a while before we pass judgements.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 So what Rey jobbed to A-Train? First off, he was still Albert. The match was okay. Rey needed to go out for surgery. Albert got put over as a dickhead bully. It repacked Albert into A-Train. It got Rey some time off. Happened in Dec. 2002. Like...2 years ago. Who cares? Der Kommissar 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 Kenzo Suzuki was ejected after doing a bad impression of "Living in America." If they keep this(and the Frenchie shuffle) up, then Dupree and Suzuki may well provide me with a reason to finally watch Smackdown. If Suzuki is dressed up like Apollo Creed in Rocky IV, while singing it, he may become my new favourite wrestler. And it looks like my streak of watching Velocity shall end at a whole... one. *sigh* I miss when Velocity was passable to good for a short time.

strummer 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 I guess Eddy v Luther Reigns Main events, I would imagine they would shoot a big angle along with it Edit:"*Eddie Guerrero vs. Luther Reigns ended up with Kurt Angle, Reigns, and Mark Jindrak beating down Guerrero and The Big Show making the save. Show got a huge reaction-" I guess not. I'm suprised they didn't shoot a big angle.

SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 That Smackdown sounded a lot better than the crap that was this monday's Raw. I suppose most people would just rather watch Evolution vs Random Top Face team pt. 931.
starvenger 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 *Eddie comes out to the ring in a Mini with the Page 3 Sun girls. First, if the Page 3 girls aren't topless, then what's the point? Second, how many of them can you cram into a Mini? Third, I would've killed to see a modified Smart Car. With a bunch of topless Page 3 girls crammed in it. That Smackdown sounded a lot better than the crap that was this monday's Raw. I suppose most people would just rather watch Evolution vs Random Top Face team pt. 931. That's because Team Angle v2.0 doesn't have Dave, I suppose. Eh, doesn't matter, I'll still be watching Joey and The Apprentice...
