Now for those who can't remember who these guys are, I gave them nicknames to make it easier.

Chris = Rocker

Mike = Underdog

Ryan = Mr. Physical

Daniel = Stunning Steve

Nick = Cadillac

Justice = Snake or Token Black Guy

and Daniel P = The Ultimate Fighter

I think Stunning Steve will win, he's got "the look" and has great potential of having heel charisma, and he even has his own bitches yo!

Dude with Banada looks to actually have charisma, so I ll go with him.

The Big, Tanned, Muscular Guy.

Which one?

I guess if I had to choose, I'd cheer for the Miz, but only because he's the one who's the most anti- what the WWE is looking for. Which means he doesn't stand a chance in hell of winning.

Daniel reminds me a lot of TE 3 winner Matt Capatelli but with the size that the WWE wishes Matt had. I wouldn't be surprised to see him win, or at least get a contract after everything is said and done. Other than that this is a largely generic group so they should fit right in with the rest of the group of OVW callups.

Whatever happened to Matt Capotelli? He wasn't Johnny Nitro, was he?

No, Johnny Nitro was the other TE 3 winner. Matt is in OVW and occassionally gets called up to wrestle on a b show. He was supposed to win the Cruiserweight title last year when Jackie won, but thanks to a Bob Holly concussion plans were changed. I expect him to be wrestling on the Smackdown taping in Rochester next month as he always seems to pop up for shows in his "hometown"

No he wasn't Johnny Nitro, that was John Hennigan.

Hasn't the Miz already been wrestling for UPW? I'm pretty sure i've seen him listed as "Student Of The Month" from their school. If he has, i'll vote for him, not only is he the least hoss like, he might actually have some ability too.

Why do all the white guys look a-like? The Vanilla Jobber Connection returns, except instead of Virgil and El Matador Tito Santana, we get white bread #1 and white bread #4.

None of them have "the look." They're just a bunch of big dudes. Sorry.

And we got Jacqueline as the CW Champion instead. :angry:

The 40 yr old who was eliminated. After him, the rest are losers.

Agreed. Once they eliminated him for being "too old," I ceased to give a shit. Also, that one black guy is most definitely a token person. He'll probably be eliminated by the third week.

I'd mark if the Miz won. All of the other guys are probably just going to be stiff jacked up hacks that can't throw a punch. The WWE already has enough of those guys so I'm pulling for the Miz.

I agree. None of these guys look like a breakout star. Maybe another Tomko. Big dude with no charisma. I could be wrong though.

A question I've had since I heard one of these guys quit as one of the finalists for this year's tough enough is "Why?".

As it is, he did someone else out of a place in the finals. So why did he quit? Has anyone heard anything about the reasons?

I like the Tough Enough contest, even if it generally doesn't seem to result in anyone interesting joining the roster (although they are working on it with Maven at the moment aren't they?) At least its a chance for the fans to feel like they too have the chance of interacting with the action. Or perhaps its jsut the feeling of giving someone "normal" a chance.

I forgot the guy's name, it was John Something, but he quit because he couldn't take the constant pain on his body. Aparratently this guy was built up as some hardass marine corps badass, so it comes a little laughable that wrestling is so tough for him he couldn't even give it two days (one was all it took). Even that tiny girl Jesse from I believe Tough Enough II took a few weeks to give it up. I haven't seen any of this on the Tough Enough TV show mind you, because I'm two weeks behind on watching Smackdown! (don't worry, it's taped), but it's what I gleaned from scanning these boards in my free time, so take that for what you will.

As for the contestants I'm with Rudo in that they all look like the same generic poser wrestler whose in it for the glory hogging and the money. I think they're all terrible except for the Miz, who I've come to really enjoy from all the MTV I watch.

Daniel Rodimer is so cocky and must be most everyone's least fave contestant. In at a close seconds it seems is Chris Nawrocki, who looks like a huge putz and also pretty fat from his photo shot up there, and second is Poder the ultimate fighter, who I overheard with a line about how he'll knock the Big Show down because he's a sack of crap and he's some badass fighter. Nice work champ, no one's impressed.

One question of my own, since I answered someone's already. How do they get voted off? Is it something where us fans call and vote, like the Diva search, or something where Al and Big vote them off like normal Tough Enoughs of the past?

At this point, I couldn't really give a shit. I haven't seen anything from any of them that would lead me to believe that they'd be a wrestling asset to the company. Their promo skills are pretty neutral, except whether he's like it all the time or not, Justice's on SmackDown! sucked ass.

I don't think that any of them have "the look" either, despite whether or not they have the heart. They might be able to get one over well enough as a face or heel, but nothing in the long term, and this will be just another failed and thus unnecessary experiment to manufacture a successful Superstar.
