Vanhalen Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 What is this full house shit, is this some wacky american thing that hasnt made its way across the pond yet?
Guest Shutterspeed Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 Gimmick posting at its worst.
Slayer Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 You mean you limeys were never subjected to Full House? Lucky bastards
Guest Nanks Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 There is too much awesome British comedy to waste airtime with garbage like that.
Guest Dazed Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 There is too much awesome British comedy to waste airtime with garbage like that. Yet we still get Will and Grace
Slayer Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 There is too much awesome British comedy to waste airtime with garbage like that. Yet we still get Will and Grace Haha There is too much awesome British comedy to waste airtime with garbage like that. I always found the Vicar of Dibley to be bangable in that Camryn Mannheim sorta way
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 I always found the Vicar of Dibley to be bangable in that Camryn Mannheim sorta way More like a 12-Gauge shotgun sort of way.
Guest Loss Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 There is too much awesome British comedy to waste airtime with garbage like that. Yet we still get Will and Grace Am I going to have to hurt you?
Red Baron Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 Full House rules Maybe when I was six, but not now.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 We'll send Full House over, and you guys start making more Faulty Towers in return.
Red Baron Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 I think some one should created all the characters names accounts, so he won't be able to use them. Worst gimmick ever.
AlaskanHero Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I'm confused at how the Full House people (who's prime was in the early 90s) would have computers and the internet and shit? No one really used the internet until like 96 or 97 and by then Full House was done. Just an observation about why the gimmick is stupid. Plus the gimmick isn't funny.
BX Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 DON'T SAY PR*ME AROUND HERE, YOU DIPSHIT. SHIT, HES COMING.
Hank Kingsley Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I think the show's most entertaining moment was the inference that Joey put things down Danny's pants at the Sizzler.
Nighthawk Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 There's not very much great British comedy. It is only, I repeat only, without hyperbole, composed of Monty Python and Benny Hill. There isn't British comedy besides that.
Guest uyaljg Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Britain did get Full House, Ireland too. And, Full House rules.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 There's not very much great British comedy. It is only, I repeat only, without hyperbole, composed of Monty Python and Benny Hill. There isn't British comedy besides that. Have you ever seen the Young Ones?
Slayer Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Don't forget (as Tack pointed out earlier) Fawlty Towers
Guest uyaljg Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Also, "Ali G", "Only Fools and Horses" and "Mr. Bean".
MrRant Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Ali G sucks. Mr. Bean is good though.
JHawk Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Red Dwarf bitches. Oh, for smeg's sake, someone beat me to it!
spiny norman Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Absolutely Fabulous (in its early years) and Blackadder also. The final World War One episode of Blackadder is one of the best episodes of television I've ever seen.
Nighthawk Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Ha ha, you guys are such suckers. For the record, though, John Cleese was in Fawlty Towers, so it is Monty Python by extension.
Guest BDC Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Python and members of Python in other things are funny. Rowan Atkinson is funny. Red Dwarf was not.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 There's not very much great British comedy. It is only, I repeat only, without hyperbole, composed of Monty Python and Benny Hill. There isn't British comedy besides that. Eddie Izzard
JHawk Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Python and members of Python in other things are funny. Rowan Atkinson is funny. Red Dwarf was not. So you only saw series 7 of Red Dwarf then?
nl5xsk1 Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I'm confused at how the Full House people (who's prime was in the early 90s) would have computers and the internet and shit? No one really used the internet until like 96 or 97 and by then Full House was done. Just an observation about why the gimmick is stupid. Plus the gimmick isn't funny. That and the fact that the Kimmy Gibbler one said "Hola, Tannerinos" at the end of each post, which makes no sense. Maybe they could have used "Adios" there, or just placed the "Hola, Tannerinos" at the beginning of each post. Regardless, horrible gimmick, not funny at all.
Nighthawk Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 It was never explicitly stated that gimmicks were supposed to be funny.
