As a Leafs fan, I don't hate the Sens or the Habs. I root for them (mildly) to at least make the playoffs so one of them can play the Leafs (and hopefully lose).

So did I, except they were tears of joy.

in 01, the Yankees hadn't become the Evil Empire yet had they? Do you geniouly hate the Yankees, or were you just sick of them winning?

A little of both.

I respect the players themselves. I do not begrudge the Yankees' methods, as I think they accomplished their budget fairly. They run a smart management. I just can't stand the team.

- I like Chris Rose

- I have cheered for the Chargers before (but never against the Raiders)

- I have cheered for the Clippers before (but never against the Lakers)

- I like Angels owner Artie Moreno more than Dodgers owner Frank McCourt

- I believe Moreno will go down as being one of the best MLB owners ever

- Last but not least, I watch the College Women's Gymnastics whenever they're on. I actually know some of their names and how they rank

- I love Max Kellerman

- I still think ATH is a good show

- I despise college sports, particularly football and basketball

- I think football is one of the dullest sports around

:headbang:

I love curling, pool and poker on television. In real life too, but still...

Hockey is my favourite sport. Golf is my second. Both to play and watch.

I love the Habs but don't root againt the Leafs. How many Yankees or RedSox fans can say that? Hell, how many Leafs/Habs fans can say that?

It took playing a football video game for me to get interested in the NFL, and the game was ESPN 2k5. I hadn't cared a lick about the NFL since Montana retired.

I can watch any sport during the playoffs.....but, see above, I outright didn't care about the NFL Playoffs last year, up to and including The Super Bowl...I'm bitter at myself for it too, I understand Mcnab's 4th and 26 is already one of football's all time great moments. I was much more interested in the FBR Phoenix Open last year instead.

I don't know what ATH is...anyone fill me in?

I like hockey and I played it for awhile and I live in California.

Baseball is the most boring sport in the world. It's a good sport to watch if you like doing the wave over and over again.

I don't like football, period.

I'd go to a Laker's game if I did not have to take out a student loan to get decent tickets.

Major League Soccer is actually more exciting in real life than on TV.

I wanted to play in the NHL since I've been 18.

I thought Lebron was going to be just a bunch of hype.

Even though I played center as a hockey player, I idolized Ray Bourque.

My girlfriend wears a Yankees hat.

I never got back into hockey the same way that I was into it before the 1994.

- I like the FOX Sunday analysts crew. Terry Bradshaw cracks me up sometimes.

- Lisa Guerrero > Michelle Tafoya. I think she could have done well if she had another season to help her learn the ropes.

- I like Michael Irvin

- I do not like Ron Jaworski

- I like Sean Salisbury

- Stacy Kolber < Pam Oliver. Stacy looks like some gymnist who takes growth stunt drugs.

- Pam Oliver is hideous

- I like Keyshawn Johnson

I agree with all of the above except for liking Keyshawn Johnson and finding Pam Oliver hideous. To me, all the sideline reporters are pretty average.

And I think you meant to say Suzy Kolber, right?

I do not like Ron Jaworski

Jaworski is such a tool. He wasn't even that great a quarterback. And Salisbury acts like he's played in the league.. If he did, I sure as hell don't remember him. Kyle Boller did a spot-on impression of him during the NFL Draft earlier this year, he had all of last year's rookies busting up because he got the weird pacing of Jaworski's speech down pat.

Now WATCH as Favre gets back to paaaass. He'll drop back, read the two linebackers, and deliver the baallll.

I've become a supporter Rueben Droughns simply because its amazing how he just pounds the holy hell out of teams.

So now I cheer the Broncos and the Falcons. I'd hate if the Broncos and Falcons ever got into the Superbowl, as I wouldn't know who I'd be cheering for then.

I'd also like to confess that I've been a secondary fan of a number of teams, usually for one season. I loved the 1998 Atlanta "Dirty Bird" Falcons, for example, and loved watching Jamal Anderson play wonderfully, even if it was just one season. Not to mention the NFC Championship game. I also liked the resurgent Saints beating the Rams in the first round of the playoffs that one year, I was a fan of N.O. then. But I've also been secondarily a Charger fan since I got into football, mostly because that was the closest thing to a hometown team I really had. It pained me greatly to see the Bolts under Captain Comeback lose to Northern California in the Super Bowl that year, and get heavily spanked in the process as well.
