I love that every single year for the Rumble, everyone always talks about how some big star is going to come back as a suprise entrant in the Rumble. I thought the best they ever did for a surprise return was with Big Show in 2001 cause NO ONE saw that coming.

I'd love to see Lesnar or Rock come back as a surprise entrant (with all the rumors going around, it definately would fit) or Austin/Foley/Hogan, who all still have good realtionships with the company and seem to be rumored for doing stuff soon.

Rumble is easily the best match they have in pro wrestling. It's great. I hope someone big comes back just to mark out crazy. I'd put my money on Lesnar.

Matt Hardy would be fine with me.. but that would totally be wierd.. considering he is on RAW..

Lesnar I could see.. but I highly doubt.

Hogan.. No.

Austin.. No.

Rock.. No. None of them will return for this.

My guess is as good as yours...

**Doubt Post**

But I'll add something anyway...

How about Doug and Danny being the #30 Entrant? That would be cool... I really enjoyed how back at Armageddon 2000 The Mean Street Posse continously switched members trying to win...

If they did that with Doug and Danny.... that'd be alright... Danny goes in forawhile, gets chucked behind the referee's back after a double elimination (Kane/Snitsky?) Danny's hurt. so Doug slides in... I dunno it could work.. and add a bit of good Commentary for JR and Tazz.

For God Sakes... I hope they dont use Lawler and Cole this year because the other two did It last year. Cole is okay.. but Lawler is TERRIBLE.

It should be Carlito.

Just have him enter the Rumble, walk down into the ring, and tries to get guys to sign his petiton during the Rumble. Then he can step out and join JR and Tazz, for a while, until someone like...Batista enters, and Carlito is like "Oh my God, I have to, I just have to get this guy's signature, that would be...that would be cool."

Carlito gets into the ring, talks to Batista for a few seconds, Batista gives him the wide-eyed stare...and throws Carlito out of the Rumble.

I agree. It's perfect. Have him come in @ 15 right after the Kane/Snitsky deal and while Tazz is all "WHAT? He's injured how can he be in this match?" There should be 5-8 people in the ring and then comes the aforementioned Batistia spot.

I love it.

Not a chance. I've got Benny going about 25-35 minutes.

Anyone doing a Rumble pool with friends?

We usually get together, each throw in $5-10, pick names out of a hat (number of names depending on how many people enter), and you get those guys...if he wins you get the pot.

I got Benoit and The Cat last year.

In 2003 I got Shawn Michaels, Rey Mysterio, and B2.

Instead of names, number are drawn. Names can be messed, as some people may not be in the Rumble. So if you draw 27, and it's Batista, and 'Tista wins the thing, you get the money.

I do the # thing along with the pick a person(we clip coins to determine order of picking) deal.

Last year, there's 10 people so it works out that each person gets three #'s. Last year I got #11, 26 and 19. (Looking back; that means I had Booker T, Angle Haas). Clearly I was resting my hopes on Angle.

Prior years if there wasn't a even # to divide, everyone got as many #'s as they wanted with a maximum of 5 and each # costed a dollar.

This year I got 7 people set for Sunday; which means...likely 4 for each of us, leaving two out.

Well, to be fair, pretty much everyone on the internet knew that he would be one of the entrants. But the live crowd sure popped huge.

Something that I just thought about...

Isn't there a chance that the 30th man in the Rumble will be decided on Heat before the Rumble?

I could see them having the last qualifying match before the PPV starts for some reason.

Plus, he was seen walkin around backstage on Heat.

Well, he wasn't SUPPOSED to be seen, anyway.

It'd be better if Batista signed it, then went back to whooping ass and Carlito just left.

I'd fall out.

It is now being confirmed that Iron Sheik will NOT be at the Royal Rumble tommorrow.

Orignally, it was rumored that Iron Sheik was to be the last slot on the SmackDown! side of the Rumble as he said in a recent interview that he would be. Apparently, the part of the interview where Sheik commented on the Rumble was taken horribly out of context.

"I was in a serious car accident in 2003 and now have to walk with a cane," Shiek said. "I don't plan on being at the Royal Rumble although an appearance at Wrestlemania 21 in April is not out of the question."

With Iron Sheik out of the way, it seems almost 99% sure that Brock Lesnar will be the last man to enter the Royal Rumble.

More on this news as it comes.

Sorry if this was already mentioned but..

I would love to see Ricky Steamboat come out and then watch as New Jack does a 50 foot balcony dive onto him. I mean, you want to talk about a SPORTZ ENTERTAINMENT finish, that's the one to go with.

I think one of the guys that loses the triple threat match will enter themselves in the number 30 spot. Either Big Show to pop the crowd with the suprise, or Angle to show him as cunning.

Oh, and I hate that these announcers say that there's only one way to be eliminated from the Royal Rumble match.

There's 4 ways:

1) Over the top rope to the floor

2) Don't come out when your number comes up

3) Get so injured that you're taken to the back (see Spike Dudley last year)

4) Get one of your major limbs cut off by a chainsaw (mentioned in 1998)

It's gonna be interesting to see how Puder is booked in the rumble...
