The Amazing Rando Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 So listening to XM today I got to hear a wonderful interview with HHH on the O&A show. Here is a brief recap of some of the conversation. 1. He says he feels bad for Chyna and Xpac, and says that especially after the tape that Chyna will never be in the WWE again, though he also says she didn't have much of a chance before anyway because of how she acted. He stated that she asked for a bigger contract than guys like Austin, Rock, and Hunter themselves had. He then went on to act kind of confused when the topic of Chyna's man-gina was brought up, almost as if he had never seen it before. 2. He made a point that Wesley Snipes was a complete dick whilst shooting the movie, but wouldn't mess with him. He went on to talk about beating the crap out of Ryan Reynolds alot. 3. Says he doesn't care what people on messageboards or the internet thinks anymore. "It used to bother" him, but now he "could care less". He goes on to specificially mention the rumor that he somehow got Pat Patterson to retire, stating that Patterson "has retired three or four times" since HHH has been in the company, and always comes back. 4. He calls Lesnar an idiot (basically) because the big gorilla does not have a "big enough name" if he would ever want to return to the WWE and have it actually mean something. 5. Sort of pokes fun at the Rock for always showing up for Wrestlemania and then disappearing the rest of the year. States he would never just straight up go to Hollywood and leave wrestling behind, even if he got injured tomorrow and could never wrestle again. Also, O&A always has HHH spanking a girl when he comes in, but Stephanie apparently gave him "the talk" before he went down to the studio, saying he could look but not touch. An internet porn girl came in and Jimmy Norton spanked her instead, and then she got off in front of everyone. Overall, the interview had it's serious moments, it's funny moments, and those moments where you can hear his voice and just know he's completely full of shit. O&A are huge fans of HHH, and are very very markish with their comments, not even knowing that he was married to Steph (they say that when they went off the air in 2002 they basically blocked out the news and everything else, so they just didn't hear about it). A caller also spoke before Trips came into the studio, saying "yeah, he got married, it's why he held the belt for the last year or so". Well, if it was a smark, it was a stupid one...THIS YEAR he has barely held the thing (about 7 months tops out of 14, which is kinda low for him when you think about it). I give it ***, as the girl carried the last half of the interview but the spots were great.
Eclipse Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 I love the way HHH runs his mouth. If Brock ever comes back, he is gonna kick HHH's ass...
Guest bigm350 Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 I love the way HHH runs his mouth. If Brock ever comes back, he is gonna kick HHH's ass... And then get put back on the unemployment line.
Ted the Poster Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 I called this morning to ask "Does your wife hate Paul Heyman because his dick is bigger than hers, or because his writing is a hundred times better?" I needed to leave though, and had to hang up while on hold. Oh well. Damn though, except for that one guy, everyone who called was such a goddamn mark it was sickening.
The Mandarin Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 Well, if it was a smark, it was a stupid one...THIS YEAR he has barely held the thing (about 7 months tops out of 14, which is kinda low for him when you think about it). I didn't get the memo from when we changed over, I guess.
A Happy Medium Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 HHH shouldn't care what we think, honestly. Both sides should call the other dicks and let it stand like that. Also, he's been everywhere lately for this movie. What's next? Him going to the Vatican and have a 60 minute broadway with The Pope?
The Amazing Rando Posted December 16, 2004 Author Report Posted December 16, 2004 When I said "this year"...I (for some reason) leaped back to the wedding date and just went from there. EDIT: He also mentioned his quad tear and talked about his recoperation and then he went on to talk about his knee cap cracking and breaking in the months after he came back in 02....but no mention of Nash's pussy falldown, which is what I was hoping for as he was verbally putting himself over for going the extra five minutes (which is pretty fucking ballsy to be honest).
Guest Fook Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 Can we just make one "HHH on..." thread for all his media appearances?
Guest Ronnie755 Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 "When asked if Brock Lesnar leaving had anything to do with it, he ripped on Lesnar again (which is the corporate word these days since Lesnar wants back in and they think he's got no options and are getting their revenge). He publicly said Lesnar wants back in and they won't take him back because they resent his leaving. He said Lesnar hadn't established himself as enough of a star to leave that the company will take him back now, but said at some point he'd probably be back. " From a report of this on the Observer site. Did you hear him say any of these things?
The Amazing Rando Posted December 16, 2004 Author Report Posted December 16, 2004 He didn't really say anything about resentment so much, but he just said "he couldn't handle the constant touring, and if you can't do that then you just can't." But he didn't say the stuff about not being established, and seemed to jump around about him coming back. Like I said above, he just kinda blasted him in the vein of "he doesn't have a big enough name to really put any interest behind his returning", which is bullshit quite frankly. Even unadvertised, a Lesnar return would make the ratings jump at least a bit, just to see what he does.
Lil' Bitch Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 He says he feels bad for Chyna and Xpac, and says that especially after the tape that Chyna will never be in the WWE again Thank God.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 even before the sex tape; Chyna was never coming back. There's no way Stephanie would allow her husband's ex back in the company.
Guest Coffey Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 If Triple H "could care less" then apparently we aren't doing our job. He shouldn't care at all. If he "couldn't care less" I'd feel that we accomplished something....
Tawren Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 2. He made a point that Wesley Snipes was a complete dick whilst shooting the movie, but wouldn't mess with him. He went on to talk about beating the crap out of Ryan Reynolds alot. Interesting. On Off The Record he said Snipes was incredibly nice to him and others. Interesting... [/conspiracy]
The Mandarin Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 If Triple H "could care less" then apparently we aren't doing our job. He shouldn't care at all. If he "couldn't care less" I'd feel that we accomplished something.... God speed, freedom fighters.
The Amazing Rando Posted December 16, 2004 Author Report Posted December 16, 2004 If Triple H "could care less" then apparently we aren't doing our job. He shouldn't care at all. If he "couldn't care less" I'd feel that we accomplished something.... Whatever. As for the Blade stuff, yeah...he was basically calling Snipes a "diva" on set, wanting everyone to call him "Blade" and such (I know that's not uncommon, but it would be funny to see Snipes walking around basically believing himself as a vampire or whathaveyou.)
RHR Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 I love the comment on how he would never go to Hollywood full time....hey, Trips....that's like me saying I wouldn't really commit to a 3 way relationship with Natile Portman and Keira Knightley.... I mean, jesus, the balls of this guy...for the last time...TRIPLE H WOULD BE NOTHING IF THE ROCK WASN'T IN HOLLYWOOD, AUSTIN-FOLEY-ANGLE ET AL HAD NEVER BEEN HURT AND IF HE WASN'T MARRIED TO STEPH. He would be a has-been overbulked up piece of crap. Instead, all of the above is true, and he's our World Champion (title held up, whatever...) I just don't like the guy on TV or in his public appearances. He just comes across as a really lucky asshole. And, yeah, I'd say it to him up close. With ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM AT ALL.
Guest theanswer1824 Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 that's the thing about heels: even if they can not work a match to save their balls from the devil, they will always be hated by marks or smarts cause it's their job to run their mouths and be hated. he knows he gets hate from everyone and he just pushes it in anyone's face. THAT'S A HEEL FOR SURE.
Guest Trivia247 Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 I don't mind his character in the ring or what he has to project when he does these interview spots. Whats annoying is more at the company than him, think that the sun rises and sets on him as long as he is champion.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 that's the thing about heels: even if they can not work a match to save their balls from the devil, they will always be hated by marks or smarts cause it's their job to run their mouths and be hated. he knows he gets hate from everyone and he just pushes it in anyone's face. Spaceman Spiff Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 4. He calls Lesnar an idiot (basically) because the big gorilla does not have a "big enough name" if he would ever want to return to the WWE and have it actually mean something. Says the guy married to the owner's daughter. Excuse me while my head explodes.
CBright7831 Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 Son of a bitch! Triple H was on Conan also. Just saw the ending of the rerun on CNBC it was obviously new since they were promoting Avril Lavigne's new album.
Brett Favre Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 Brock is actually more popular than HHH around here, probably everywhere else too. They're probably pulling a Flair on Foley, and trying to get an HHH/Brock match down the line. Which is good.
claydude14 Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 Wasn't Lesnar/HHH in the books for Mania 21?
Brett Favre Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 Yeah it was. They are probably building this for WrestleMania 22. Of course if Brock returns like, very soon, they might just stick it in right now. Orton is getting over though, so I doubt that happening.
Guest netslob Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 he just kinda blasted him in the vein yeah, i'll bet he's used to blasting veins.
haVoc Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 Did he really call Brock a "big gorilla?"
Vyce Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 Alright, I'll be the one who asks it: HHH v. Lesnar. Who wins? I'm not talking about some fixed wrestling match - I'm talking about an ass-whoopin'. A "Dixie Dogfight" if you will. My money would totally be on Brock to absolutely slaughter Hunter.
haVoc Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 "When asked if Brock Lesnar leaving had anything to do with it, he ripped on Lesnar again (which is the corporate word these days since Lesnar wants back in and they think he's got no options and are getting their revenge). " From a report of this on the Observer site. Did you hear him say any of these things? They'd be stupid not to take Brock back if he could help business. They took people back like Hogan, Nash, Hall and even Brock's women Sable who were past their physical prime who burned Vince a lot more then Brock going to the NFL. Does/did Brock mean as much to wrestling as Hogan, Nash and Hall? No. But a lot of people were saying Brock was on his way to being one of the greats before he walked out. Triple H had it out for Brock well before he left because Brock was a better heel and was having much better matches then Triple H around that time.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 Assuming he's in WWE shape, Lesnar destroys Trips without question.
