Guest Loss Report post Posted December 28, 2004 I have tons of biases and favorite wrestlers, but I try not to let that get in the way of me saying whether or not a match was good. I forgave Jericho's flaws for a long time, but I've sort of gotten over that.
Guest krazykat72 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Michaels also cried his way out of doing the job to Vader at Summerslam 96 and "lost his smile" in February before he was going to drop the title to Bret Hart at Wrestlemania XIII. Michaels was never scheduled to lose the title to Vader at SummerSlam '96. It's never been reported by a reputable source to be the case. He also wasn't losing it to Bret at 'Mania XIII. He *was* going to drop it to Sid on the Thursday RAW show, when Vince decided he wanted to have Sid/UT at 'Mania for the title with Shawn/Bret in the undercard. But don't let that get in the way of your bias. -Paul Jacobi-
Special K 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Biased towards: Jericho - Not as good in the ring or on the stick as he used to be (the former in a large part due to the WWE style) but he can still cut a mean promo when motivated, and can really make a feud work if he's given something to work with. Trish - Could have just relaxed into a Torrie Wilson, Stacey Kiebler type role, but busted her ass to actually have some good matches. In interviews sounds very nice, and passionate about wrestling. Rick Rude - back in the day, he was my absolute favorite on the stick. I would forgive him awful matches just because his mannerisms and promos were so great. Dreamer - Never that great at anything, he busted his balls and gave his body, and always stuck with ECW. I'm glad he has a job. RVD - Completely exciting to watch in ECW (once he got done with the arbitrary 5 minute stall) and hilarious on the stick, got shafted by the WWE style (he used to actually do suplexes and takedowns instead of JUST kicks and cartwheels) Raven: Very good on the stick, involved in a number of really excellent matches in WCW. Could play both seriously slimy and funny characters. Scott Norton - no reason why here, I just always liked the big lug. Against: 'Taker: Never jobs, can't wrestle anymore, horrible on the stick, gets big pops but can't draw. Sounds like he put the kibosh on a lot of the WCW/ECW guys when they came in the company. Sting: used to be pretty good just by virtue of sheer enthusiasm and being paced by old hands like Flair, Muta. Then lost some motivation and became lazy, boring and the most ridiculously unbeatable babyface ever. He may have lost the least amount of matches cleanly of anyone ever. Muta: Cool character. however, after seeming numerous HORRENDOUS matches from him out of Japan (stalls than any other wrestler), back when he was perfectly capable of busting his ass and wrestling great, it's soured me on many of his good-->great matches. Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Vader was suppose to be World Champion in 1996, and don't try and bullshit that. There's a reason why the december PPV was called "IT'S TIME!", because Vader was suppose to be the World Champion for it, but Master Crybaby Shawn Michaels somehow got the plans changed to Sid winning the title. (slurping noises can be heard from Vince McMahons office) And Hart was originally suppose to get the job back at Wrestlemania XIII too. I don't care if it was for the title or not, Michaels cried his way out of another job. Everyone and their mother has reported it, and the above one is 100% guranteed. There's a difference between Summerslam and Survivor Series (in that Vader was supposed to be in the Sid spot to transition back to Shawn). You claimed Mania XIII was going to be for the title, it wasn't. Your opinion of Shawn is yours, but you should actually know what was going on as opposed to making false statements. -Paul Jacobi-

haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 Bias towards - Batista, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Sting, Sid ( I always liked the guy for some reason), Shelton Benjamin, Triple H, Viscera (same situation as Sid), Eddy Guerrero, Booker T Bias against - Orton (if it werent for him being passable on the mic, I would call him "Erik Watts 2005"), Jericho (never liked him), Bret Hart, JBL
Some Guy 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 Bias against - Orton (if it werent for him being passable on the mic, I would call him "Erik Watts 2005"), But Orton throws a great dropkick. Bias towards: HBK: He was the reason I got back into wrestling in late 95 after a 2 year hiatus. I can admit when he was wrong or had a bad match though. Hogan: The reason I was a fan in the first place. And can admit when he was wrong and such. Scott Hall: I just like the guy's mic skills and the Razor's Edge. Goldberg: I like his short squash matches, he does it better than anybody. If the match goes over 5-10 minutes or talks he gets very exposed obviously. The Rock: He's put over three times as many guys than HHH, Hogan, and Austin combined. And he's funny and a good worker, despite the shitty Sharpshooter. Bias Against: Foley: I used to be a big fan but his rampant egotism as of late has soured me on him greatly. Austin: I'm not sure if it was his fault or not but when he was GM/Sheriff of Raw he made way too many of the active wrestlers look horrible. HHH: For the same reasons as everybody else. Taker: I haven't been a fan since 91 or so. Batista: He just strikes me as another goofy footed muscle head.

Masked Man of Mystery 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2005 I am biased toward cruiserweights in general, I just like the style. I am also/especially biased toward: Chris Benoit: somehow, even though it never came into his gimmick, somehow he seems like the common man who trained his BUTT off to become a wrestler, and a darn good one at that. Tommy Dreamer has the same vibe going, although obviously he isn't as good a wrestler. Ultimo Dragon: I LOVE his WWF entrance with all the fire. He also has an awesome costume and the man is just plain skilled and athletic. Rob Vab Dam: I like how he's usually laid back(even if its because he's high) and his has a neat moveset. Especially the kicks since I'm a Kung Fu movie nut, plus he sells the frog splash, which is just neat. Rico: Rico was almost the sole reason I watched Smackdown for a while, because his matches were so much fun. See also Guerrero, Eddie AJ Styles: Whenever that man comes out, you see a good match. It's like impossible for that not to happen or something. He could get a good match out of Kevin Nash with his leg injury, pratically Eh, I'll do more later. TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2005 For: Classic Heels (Rude, Dibiase, Jake "The Snake", Old-School Flair), Kid Kash (Hometown Hero), Raven, Bobby Roode, Batista, The Naturals, Benoit, Rhyno Against: HHH, Recent Flair, Cade, Booker T, Bob "The Enforcer" Holly, AMW, Jarrett, Spot Monkeys & recent hosses
Guest DVD Spree Report post Posted January 14, 2005 Biased towards: Dr Death (for backdrop drivers and wrestling STIFF AS ALL FUCK in AJPW), WWF Championship reign of Big Show, pre-APA, heel Acolyte Bradshaw, pre-pussy face Cena, debut-era, triple-powerbombing Spike, squashing the Hardyz Brock, heel Demolition (especially the three-man unit), heel Hercules, POWER AND FUCKING GLORY, Hollywood Hogan. Biased against: Triple H, Red & Yellow (well, basically non-black stubble) Hogan. Also, while I'm a HUUUUGE mark for badass heel, and even cocky face, monotone-promo-cutting Rock, I just can't fucking stand post-Scorpion King Rock – when he came back from Hollywood he'd obviously had some wanker of an acting coach telling him to find motivation and shit, and consequently his promos went from monotone-infused intensity to weebly-warbly stupid voices and too much "range". Sorry.

Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2005 I am biased towards wrestlers who smoke, anybody who spits mist, Vince McMahon, Jeff Hardy, New Jack, Lawler, Misawa for having ties to the yakuza, Dynamite Kid for being a psychotic asshole and now Lita after hearing what a whore she is. And Vader, I guess, but a lot of people like him. I'm biased against indy wrestlers in general, although it can be overcome, with effort.
Taker666 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 I biases towards.... The Undertaker: Hes THE superstar I look foward to watching on both WWE brands. I just love everything about the deadman personal, the ultra-cool entrance, the huge ovations, the kick-ass organ theme music, the supernatual speical effects he does sometimes. I'am just facinated with the whole Darkside gimick. NO ONE can pull it off as brilliantly as Callaway can. plus, hes fun to watch in the ring and is proabally better than some of the guys on both brands right now. Hell, I look foward to watching him more than Benoit and Jericho. Kane- been a fan of his sence his debut. even through the katie-vick and pregancy storylines, I stuck by him and continued to support him. also, 2nd best entrance next to The Undertaker. kenzo Susuki- sure hes not great in the ring- but man, when hes talking on the mic or doing a segment. I can't help but burst into laughter. JBL- One of the most entertaining charaters the WWE has came up with and one of the reasons why SD is entertaining. hes a good brawler and brilliant on the Mic, and I'am not afraid to admit it, I've enjoyed his title reign more than Benoits. John Cena- He just entertains me, the huge ovation, going into the crowd and greeting the fans, some of his one-liners. I just can't help but like him. hes great. theres more WWE wrestlers I enjoy. but I'll just leave it at that. I biases against.... Randy Orton- He just bores me. no charater, average wrestling skills, plain ring attire, theres just nonthing I liked about him. when he won the World title, I payed less attention to Raw. Triple H- now I don't HATE him, Hes put on alot of great matches last year(and some crap ones aswell). but when ever I see him with the World title around him and with a mic in hand. he just never fails to bore me hmm, thats it
