Enigma 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Dave Scherer reported on the PWInsider Elite hotline today that WWE was considering bringing in Super Crazy next month in an effort to expand the cruiserweight division (and probably have another name for the ECW PPV in June). Guest Fook_Theta Report post Posted January 12, 2005 This would expand my pants if you know what I mean and I think you do.
Frankie Williams 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 That would also expand the roster for Velocity.
Mole 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 This would be dumb of Super Crazy.
LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 This would expand my pants if you know what I mean and I think you do. It would stiffen MY pants, considering they'd do a subpar revival of the Tajiri feud that could never do their series of matches justice.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 I wondered what happened to Super Crazy since the ECW days. Might be interesting to see him back. *Could sorta see a Rey/Super Crazy feud.
Guest netslob Report post Posted January 12, 2005 didn't he wrestle a handful of matches in TNA last year?
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 This would be dumb of Super Crazy. Why? He makes some good money, gets national exposure, and maybe he's lucky enough to get a chance to get himself over. The last part is wishful thinking, but the guy is a veteran, he deserves some money, and it might even be a sign that they're finally getting serious about focusing on the cruiserweight title. I've been championing the idea of bringing in Crazy since ECW shut down.
teke184 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Crazy's only problems may be getting a US work visa, which is part of his troubles in ECW. As for the matches, I'd love to see him, Tajiri, Rey Misterio, and a few others have some matches. Once Jamie Noble gets resigned, that would be another good guy for him to face. (Noble was released as a total CYA move by the WWE... he was told he'd be brought back later once things had blown over)
Enigma 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 They also told Rikishi he'd be back once the heat on him died down as long as he didn't go to TNA.
cameron chaos 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Noble got busted when his old doc turned him over for steroids didn't he?
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Of all the cruiserweights they could bring in...
Guest Deadbolt Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Crazy would be a great addition to the Cruiserweight Division with his high flying style. Also, with this rumour, it will only add more heat to the possible ECW PPV in June of this year.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 This is interesting. In an Observer about a month ago, they told a story about how McMahon was considering a luchadore/Mexican wrestler for a role, and Heyman recommended Crazy. McMahon turned to Heyman, and dead seriously said "Paul, we have enough Japanese wrestlers, don't we?"
Special K 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 <---- Don't forget Little Guido, he was great in those Tajiri/Crazy matches as the little bump machine that could.
Guest drdrainoscott Report post Posted January 12, 2005 They are also considering the original Psycosis, who Mysterio is pushing for, and Jack Evans according to Meltzer
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 If you're reviving the cruiserweight division, then you've GOT to bring in:
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 This could be good. Super Crazy was definitely over in ECW, and I'm sure he could be in WWE. He'd be a welcome addittion to the cruisers. I would love to see a feud with Rey.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 on the up side this gives Super Crazy a steady paycheck and national Exposure.. the downside is as we seen with Nova/Simon Dean his moveset might be severely depleted as a result. Nova who had innovative offensives is now down to an almost Virgil like moveset
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Apparently Ultimo Dragon is not coming back in without his mask, which is stupid if they're actively looking for cruisers. What about TAKA? Did he leave on good terms?
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Noble was released as a total CYA move by the WWE Choose your own adventure?
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 the downside is as we seen with Nova/Simon Dean his moveset might be severely depleted as a result. Well, one of the good things about Crazy is that he has a few signature spots that he works into all of his matches, ala. Mysterio, Van Dam, Guerrero. The E has shown that they're willing to let guys do their spots, they just don't want them out there freestyling. Crazy should be able to get something like the triple moonsault or tornado DDT over with the crowd.
Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 I don't know, I have mixed reactions to this. At one hand, it would be pretty awesome to see him in the WWE, but at the other hand, the WWE doesn't exactly have a good track record when it comes to cruiserweights.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 I know who they can bring in to add to the Cruiserweight division! ...OK, someone can kill me now for that.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Fucking awesome, I'd love to see Tajiri / Super Crazy go at one more time even under shitty WWE provisions.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted January 12, 2005 The WWE fanbase isn't smart enough to do shit like count to ten in Spanish. Crazy would lose a lot of his appeal right there. WWE doesn't have the ECW fans. Maybe they'll prove me wrong?
teke184 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Noble got busted when his old doc turned him over for steroids didn't he? Yes, in a way. Noble went to the doctor and, to get the office to pay for it, submitted the bill to the WWE. The problem was that it was for an infection at the site where he was injecting his steroids and the doctor listed it on the paperwork that Noble gave the office. The WWE was forced to fire him because they had medical documentation that he was using steroids. They didn't want to, but having the proof in writing meant that they were exposed legally unless they took action.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Seriously, I h8 U guys. What's next is Jado, Gedo, Dick Togo going to save the Cruiserweight division also?
The Man in Blak 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Crazy's very similar to Tajiri in the fact that he's certainly capable of getting over with the North American audience - it's just a matter of whether the WWE will really let him work his schtick or not.
