Super Crazy coming to WWE?

Dave Scherer reported on the PWInsider Elite hotline today that WWE was considering bringing in Super Crazy next month in an effort to expand the cruiserweight division (and probably have another name for the ECW PPV in June).

Why? He makes some good money, gets national exposure, and maybe he's lucky enough to get a chance to get himself over.

 

The last part is wishful thinking, but the guy is a veteran, he deserves some money, and it might even be a sign that they're finally getting serious about focusing on the cruiserweight title. I've been championing the idea of bringing in Crazy since ECW shut down.

Crazy's only problems may be getting a US work visa, which is part of his troubles in ECW.

 

As for the matches, I'd love to see him, Tajiri, Rey Misterio, and a few others have some matches. Once Jamie Noble gets resigned, that would be another good guy for him to face.

Crazy would be a great addition to the Cruiserweight Division with his high flying style. Also, with this rumour, it will only add more heat to the possible ECW PPV in June of this year.

This is interesting. In an Observer about a month ago, they told a story about how McMahon was considering a luchadore/Mexican wrestler for a role, and Heyman recommended Crazy. McMahon turned to Heyman, and dead seriously said "Paul, we have enough Japanese wrestlers, don't we?"

This could be good. Super Crazy was definitely over in ECW, and I'm sure he could be in WWE. He'd be a welcome addittion to the cruisers. I would love to see a feud with Rey.

Well, one of the good things about Crazy is that he has a few signature spots that he works into all of his matches, ala. Mysterio, Van Dam, Guerrero. The E has shown that they're willing to let guys do their spots, they just don't want them out there freestyling. Crazy should be able to get something like the triple moonsault or tornado DDT over with the crowd.

I don't know, I have mixed reactions to this. At one hand, it would be pretty awesome to see him in the WWE, but at the other hand, the WWE doesn't exactly have a good track record when it comes to cruiserweights.

The WWE fanbase isn't smart enough to do shit like count to ten in Spanish. Crazy would lose a lot of his appeal right there. WWE doesn't have the ECW fans.

Yes, in a way.

 

Noble went to the doctor and, to get the office to pay for it, submitted the bill to the WWE.

 

The problem was that it was for an infection at the site where he was injecting his steroids and the doctor listed it on the paperwork that Noble gave the office.

 

 

The WWE was forced to fire him because they had medical documentation that he was using steroids. They didn't want to, but having the proof in writing meant that they were exposed legally unless they took action.

Crazy's very similar to Tajiri in the fact that he's certainly capable of getting over with the North American audience - it's just a matter of whether the WWE will really let him work his schtick or not.
